We had a very bad experience 2/14/2016. We were ready to get our sound bar and very excited to finally purchase one. We walked in at around 7pm-8pm knowing exactly what we wanted and in our price range, but we had a few questions in terms of what we could connect to the sound bar. We have a record player that requires it be connected to a speaker, and we thought that a sound bar would be excellent for multifunctional use. We looked around for someone to assist it and we found someone towards the TVs. As we approached we saw that he was just standing there watching a trailer. We stood right next to him and still we were not acknowledged. As we were talking to him trying to get his attention, he slightly glances over and says I am listening and points to his right ear, still watching the TV. We almost walked away and I almost blew up on him due to his terrible service. We asked if we could plug in a specific cord to the sound bar to get our record player to work, (Mind you he is still not looking at us) and he just looks at the sound bar and says no. We knew this couldnt be true, because we have seen it done before at our parents house, we just needed to know which cord we required! So then we asked, "Ok, well what other sound bar can we get so that it is compatible?" He gave us two options, a very cheap sound bar or a $600 dollar sound bar! WHAT!! He didnt dare even walk us to the sound bar aisle and assist us. He pointed to the one right behind him still watching the TV. Needless to say, we stormed out of there with the soundbar we wanted originally, very disappointed. Once we got outside, we were fuming and I refuse to return to this Best Buy and purchase from electronics, at least not with that employee around! He needs to be spoken to and taught how to treat customers. We almost left our items there and left. The store itself is not terrible, but this one employee put a very bad taste in our mouth.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have been shopping at Best Buy for 15 years now, and I just love this store. The customer service has always been great for me. I probably purchase something 2-3 times a year, so its not like they know me. I purchased a Gateway All in One computer a year ago, and did not purchase any warranty for it. Six months after I purchased the computer, it wouldnt turn on. I called Gateway, and they wanted to charge me $75.00 to ship it to them and be without for 2 weeks. I called Best Buy and their Geeksquad came through for me. They sent my computer off and had it repaired and it didnt cost me a thing. Then 2 weeks ago, my computer did it again. I called Gateway and told them I felt I had a lemon, they didnt care. I called Best Buy and again they took care of it. Best Buy recommended I call Gateway and ask them to extend the warranty on the computer since it has already crashed 2 times for the same problem, needless to say I hate Gateway and wouldnt buy their product for a penny. They wouldnt do anything. I called Best Buy back and spoke with a manager and explained my situation. Not only did they help me, but they went to extremes. They had me purchase a brand new computer, then when my Gateway came back, they allowed me to trade it in and gave me a credit towards the new computer I purchased. Gateway would not stand behind the product they made, but Best Buy stood behind the product they sold. I see a lot of negative reviews from people on here, and I must say, I have never experienced this. I am grateful for the service I received from them and would pick Best Buy first for a new electronic device.

The store is nice looking, well stocked on various products and the restrooms are fairly clean. The Cell Phone section can be quite crowded at times especially when a new phone is released or Black Friday of course. But some of the phone sales people can be rude and dismissive. If you dont know what Carrier or plan you want, the sales people do not ask how you will use the plan so they can help you choose, they just try to sell you the top of the line phone with an expensive carrier not even checking to see if that carrier will work where you live. At least that was our experience and what we have observed at this location as well. If you happen to be a Senior Citizen you may as well expect that you will be leaving with the top of the line newest phone and what ever Carrier they are pushing for in sales in at that time. We decided to pay for our phones and go with a pay as you go carrier to have two $35 a month bill as opposed to $150. As soon as she realized that is what we wanted we were treated with disrespect and looked down on. When others were picking up new phones and carriers on the sales persons recommendations they were out of the store in 1/3 of the time we were. We were there for almost 2 hours not including the time on the list just to be waited on. She didnt go over how the phone worked and when we asked about the plan she either didnt answer or was rude. The carrier we wanted and went with works the best in our area and the plan was so reasonable so glad we followed our instincts and not the pushy rude sales person.

I used to work at this best buy, and even when I would come in the staff always asked me if I needed help with anything, Im not just giving them good reviews to make them seem better but even when I worked there I would see how hard everyone worked to make customers happy. That being said, for all the people that say that everyone there had poor customer service...we get POOR CUSTOMERS seriously...when Halo 4 and Call of Duty 2 came out we have AN ENTIRE SECTION of space on our video game display dedicated to those games. Customers will stomp up to me all grumpy and just say "Call of Duty," or "Halo 4" I will LITERALLY turn around reach out my arm and give it to them and smile, and they huff and puff and stomp away again. And this happened to me twice as well in one week.."Excuse me do you work here?" NO you know I just love best buy so much that I had them give me a BLUE SHIRT and TAN PANTS -.- like really? come on, and you wonder why we sometimes look at you like....your dumb is the nice way to put it. And then customers that come up to me all high and mighty asking me ten questions when im CLEARLY helping someone else and just straight up interrupt me and then walk away with saying thank you. So the next time you judge someone by having poor customer service, think to yourself are you being a poor customer? Can you possibly answer your own questions if the answers are on the back of the box? (Trust me, 90% of your answers will be there) And maybe say thank you once in a while.
