****EDIT*** After posting my review I was contacted less than 24 hours later by Angelina and she asked me to please tell her how to make this situation right. She was incredibely nice, understanding and helpful and I am so grateful to say that this situation has been 100% taken care of and I am a happy camper. Thank you so much to Angelina for taking pride in your job and helping me out. I am changing my stars from 1 to 4 because of her wonderful customer service -Laura This is the first time Ive ever written a review on anything, but I felt it necessary for this store. Our first experience going in to try on bridemsaid dresses was great. The store is an hour and 45 minutes away from where we live, but we made a girls day of it and had fun. We had a very helpful girl, and we all had a lot of fun trying on dresses and being fitted.I tried on the size 4 dress in the store of the style that was decided on, and it is a fitted satin dress but it fit me perfectly. After being measured my chest and waist measured a 4 and my hips a 6. I decided to order a 6 to be safe. I purchased my $170 dress that day, that came down to $150 with a promotion going on. When my dress came in, I drove the hour and 45 minutes to get there to try on a dress that I could barely zip. After being asked if I had gained weight recently(excuse me, but Im sure they could have worded this differently or not even asked it), they took my measurements and said I measured the same, just a half an inch larger in my hips but that still kept me in the same dress size. They measured the dress and it was measuring a size 2 with a size 6 tag on it. So they sent that dress back, and I drove my hour and 45 minutes home. When the next dress came in 4 weeks later, I drove another hour and 45 minutes back. I asked if they reimbursed for gas or gave discounts when their company was at fault and they told me no. Fine. I went in the store with my 3 you kids, and it took them over 10 minutes to find the dress because they spelled my name wrong. When I tried this dress on, it again was incredibely too tight. But not only that, it was barely long enough to touch the ground. The floor model I tried on, and the dress I recieved the first time were both long enough I could have had them hemmed if I had desired. I was so flustered and annoyed, and didnt have time to wait 4 more weeks for another dress (that may or may not fit) and did not want to drive another 3.5+ hours round trip, or cause any kind of scene with my children there. So I just took the dress and left. I just left the alterationist in my town, and I will now be paying $136 in alterations to make a dress fit me. So the dress officially cost me $286 plus 504 miles on my car and in gas$$ I will never use this store again, and I suggest you find a different place as well.

I was very disappointed with how both my mother and I were treated. My first appointment went very smoothly, I had a lovely girl, Jessica, help me find the perfect dress which I was able to buy right off the rack. My second appointment for my fitting however was a totally different story! I walked in 15 minutes early and still wasnt seen by the seamstress till 45 minutes after my appointment time. The whole time during my appointment she went to different brides and barley payed attention to what my mother and I were trying to explain. Then when she had pined it to the complete opposite of what we wanted my mother told her that it wasnt what we were looking for, to which the seamstress told us, in a rude and very arrogant tone that she "wont do the alterations if [she] cant have the space to work now, [she] wont do them believe me." So my mother and I gave her some space to re-pin it to what we wanted. Then she went off for about 20 minutes to help another bride only for her to come back and say that our appointment was done and that she had other brides to attend to. When I got up to the register I was taken back with the price she was gonna charge me for just taking in my shoulders, to which she said that she has to redo the whole neckline which is in no way true. So politely I told them I will take my dress home and think about it, to which they told me okay. Then they told me that if I had another seamstress touch it that she would not work on it, and then they had the audacity to accuse, me saying that they would know i"f I got it done by some one else" and "not to even bother with trying because the seamstress would be able to tell." I was polite and told them I wouldnt try such a thing. Then when we were getting my dress back she took of the protective covering and instead of putting it back on like we asked she simply handed me the dress with a folded up protective covering and basically shoved us out the door. All in all do not get your dress alterations here. I left in tears after how they treated me. I would not go back there for getting another dress or alterations. The ladies at the front and the seamstress are very rude and if they dont get your money that treat you like trash, so I would not suggest going here for alterations or getting a dress.

I was originally looking at Davids bridal for a nice inexpensive dress, however they have NO nice looking dresses for plus sized women. I was referred to Alfred Angelo by a friend and to my surprise they had AMAZING dresses for women who are larger. I have extreme anxiety and was so worried that when I went in there I was not going to be able to find a dress in my size or that I would be uncomfortable shopping there. I went in with my whole family on a Saturday which by the way is CRAZY times for them. My appointment was at 2:00pm and no one signed me in until about 2:30, however Debby came right over and apologized to us immediately and told me that someone would be right with me. Elizabeth was the lady that helped me into the one dress that I had my sights on for weeks. I originally was going to have them add sleeves to the dress so I would be a little more comfortable however when I saw myself in the dress I broke down crying because I knew it was the one. I asked Elizabeth for her HONEST opinion and was ready to hear the truth as I wanted to know if the dress looked ok on me and that I didnt look ridiculous. The last thing I wanted was to look like I was stuffed into a dress I shouldnt be wearing. Both Debby and Elizabeth were beyond nice to me, gave me words of encouragement and told me that I looked beautiful and I then felt so comfortable. I didnt need to try on anything else. I knew this was the dress I was going to wear. I spent way more then was in budget but this got me everything I needed. I still have to pay for the alterations which are a little steep in my opinion but thats the price you pay for wedding apparel I guess. My experience here was amazing and I encourage you to go into this store to find your dress! Ask for Elizabeth, she was amazing!
