If I could give Caruso Florist a negative star I would. Dont do business with them. My husband ordered flowers for my birthday from a major on line company that contacted Caruso Florist locally to do the arrangement. The flowers are nothing like whats described by the major company. The flowers arent even arranged. It looks like a child tossed them in a tacky vase. The babies breath looks old, the vase is cheap the 4 purple poppies look like they have been out in a wind storm. Youd be much better off going to whole foods and getting fresh flowers yourself. I called the florist to politely tell him that the arrangement was not flattering to his business. The owner wouldnt let me speak. He just kept saying over and over, "Do you know how much he paid for those flowers?! He got what he paid for." and "Tell your husband to call me." This guy was a real jerk. He made me cry. Happy Birthday.

I was going to give it zero stars however am required to give at least one star. My order was suppose to come on Friday in time for me at work for Mothers Day, I did not get them until Monday. When I did get the flowers the water was so dirty and muddy, and the vase was full of mud and the ribbon was muddy as well, I looked at the bottom and it had cheerios in the water. Not to mention some of the flowers were dead and the arrangement was horrid. I called and told them and they said they would deliver a new bouquet next day and when I received them same result. I told the person who sent them to get their money back. When I called the second time i kept getting the run around and got hung up on. I will NOT recommend them this was my first experience and not a good one at all.

I called and purchased flowers to be delivered to my friend for her birthday. I was told the flowers would be delivered the next day. This was a local delivery. On Saturday when I didnt get a call from my friend confirming her receipt I called Carusos only to be told that the driver couldnt find the home and therefore the flowers wouldnt be delivered and the driver might try again the next day. Well the next day wasnt her birthday or when I paid for them to be delivered. I also never received a courtesy call from the florist letting me know there was problem. I was so upset that I made the effort to do something nice for someone only to have Caruso ruin it for me. I will never again use this florist.

I ordered a flower arrangement for a dear friend. The flowers were delivered in a timely manner on Thursday and looked beautiful for about a day. The hydrangeas became droopy and some of the other flowers petals were falling off. There was plenty of water in the container so that wasnt the problem. My friend informed me of this on Saturday, just two days after the arrangement was delivered. We contacted Caruso on Monday, asked for the arrangement to be replaced and they refused saying we should have notified them on Thursday or Friday. Now I dont know about you but when I spend $80 for an arrangement, I expect them to last longer than two days. Very dissatisfied with how they handled the complaint.

Ordered from FTD and they used Caruso Flourist to fulfill the order. The flower bouquet arrangement was not even close to what is advertized. The pink roses were already dying and the arrangement was so bare and not close to the pictures. It was missing so many flowers (red carnations, pink roses, etc). I wish I could post pictures to show the discrepancy. FTD has various levels of flowers: Good, Better, Best, and Exquisite. I ordered the "Best" and what I got wasnt even close to the "Good" level. Never using FTD or Caruso. You are better off picking it up in store and seeing it for yourself.

Gorgeous 10th Wedding Anniversary floral arrangement designed for my sister. After reading bad review and seeing news videos about online florists, they suggested trying local florist. I am located in the South, so I went online to search for florist in D.C. and read good reviews for Caruso. I am very happy that I decided to choose them. Caruso employees were very cordial and helpful in designing exactly what I asked for and I was not disappointed when I saw the photos. Thank you Caruso Florists for making my sisters day even more special.

I got the flowers from these guys. I asked them to check the spelling of the name of the person it was going to. Did they do it? NO.. It just ruined the whole thing! The person who the flowers went to doesnt even care about the damn flowers anymore... the name was wrong. Its like sending the flowers to someone with someone elses name on it... how crappy is that! ADVISE: if the name is wrong, then it doesnt matter if u spend a 100 dollars or a 1000 on flowers or anything else.

I called for a late delivery on Saturday and they were unable to deliver until the next day Sunday which was great. I was actually amazed they would deliver on Sunday. However I was very disappointed with the arrangement, which was a birthday gift. I asked for hydrangeas and some roses. The arrangement consisted of one hydrangea and 5 roses with filler and a Berber daisy. I spent 125.00. Sadly, I feel they could have done better. I felt embarrassed at my gift.

Caruso flowers are beautiful, the shop is conveniently located and the owners are helpful and friendly. Most recently, I called to ask what time they were closing and Mr. Caruso actually waited for me to walk over before closing up shop for the night. I was looking for a bouquet for a friend who had done a huge favor and only had a few minutes to find something for her. I was in and out in minutes with a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Thanks again!

Unbeknownst to me, a friend ordered flowers for me here as I was recovering from surgery. Since I had planned to recover out of town, I was not home when the delivery guy attempted to deliver but they were very flexible and nice when I explained and told me to call back when I returned and theyd send the delivery guy out again. When I got back a week later they delivered fresh flowers to me that were lovely.Great customer service and delivery!

Reading these reviews, I probably would not have ordered my flowers from here but I just read them now. My experience with them has been great this past Valentines Day. Although the recipient did not make it to work because of the heavy snow this year, Caruso was prompt about re-routing them to her home. I will continue to use them as theyve given me great service for my first use.

Placed and order to be delivered in the AM. It is 3:40 PM right now and the flowers have not been delivered. I called to cancel the order. They told me they cannot cancel the order until they speak to the driver and then put me on hold for what is now almost 10 minutes. I will not place an order with caruso again.

Placed an order for a same day delivery within 3 minutes on the phone. Very polite and efficient. I ordered the "As Shown" size of the Telefloras Turn Up The Pink Bouquet arrangement. Within two hours my friend had received the flowers and they were BEAUTIFUL! Shared pic, also posted on their yelp page.
