I was searching for a florist in DC and found this shop online. I live in Miami and needed to order flower arrangements for my son and daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner at a DC restaurant.. I called the shop on a Saturday morning and spoke with the owner. I told her I needed eight flower arrangements to be delivered to the restaurant the following Saturday evening. I told her I wanted small arrangements with hydrangeas and some pops of color. I told her my budget (which was modest) and she assured me that she would create beautiful arrangements and they would be delivered early. When we arrived at the restaurant the following Saturday I was thrilled to see the beautiful arrangements on the tables. There were 36 guests at the dinner and the tables all had beautiful arrangements on them. What a joy it was to see that the flowers exceeded my expectations! This florist is very professional, friendly and creative. The flowers were very high quality as well. The arrangements made a lovely evening even more special. When I need flowers in DC I will always use this shop, I wouldnt think of going anywhere else!

My parents sent me flowers for my birthday from this flower shop. The bouquet was beautiful with tulips, lilacs, and a peony. However the next day, with the exception of the tulips, all the flowers were wilted and mostly dead. I called them because I thought that an arrangement should last longer than 24 hours. The woman was incredibly rude and condescending and continued to interrupt my answers to her questions. I have never experienced such poor customer service. She informed me that I clearly didnt know anything about flowers and when I said that I didnt appreciate that statement and her condescending tone, she continued to insult me. I finally said that I would be telling everyone I knew to not use this shop, her response was, and I QUOTE, "Please do! I dont want customers that are anything like you." Im shocked at the complete absence of manners and customer service.

the shop pulled off a unique request (freesia with golden rain tree pods provided by the bride) that could have looked very odd but was impeccably beautiful. Only thing better was level of customer service: 2 hours before the wedding, the bride realized she forgot to order enough boutonniers, and the shop owner offered to make one within a few minutes. the bride refused to let me leave, but the shop actually called me back and walked me (the maid of honor) through what pieces of the centerpieces and bouquets to pin on the lapel as an attractive stand-in. if you are obsessing about what florist to use for your event, STOP and just pick Little Shop of Flowers.

Ive ordered from them before and had a great experience. This last order though, left me shopping for a new florist. Taking my order went fine, but I had it delivered to my home so that I could personally bring them to my guest as I didnt want them to sit in the heat. Was very disappointed in what I received as I had spent $100 thinking I was going to get a relatively full arrangement, but because the arrangement had "expensive peonies", I only had 3 stems and a few other fillers. It did not look like $100 worth of flowers by any stretch, I could have gotten a better arrangement at Trader Joes or Whole Foods for much cheaper.

Ive been disappointed to many times to be sucked back into the big floral dot com companies. When I need to send flowers I find a local(to the recipient) florist; check some reviews; call them; tell them want I want or what the occasion is; and lastly how much I what to spend. If the result is positive keep that name handy for future reference, which is what I am going to do with A Little Shop Of Flowers in Washington DC. The ordering process was easy and the resulting flower arrangement was delivered on time and more importantly was beautiful.

This place is AMAZING! The flowers and arrangements they put together are one of a kinds plus the owner is very straightforward and easy to work with, very professional and really quite talented. Tip of advice if youre buying for someone: just tell them what kind of flowers this person likes and what their relationship is to you / what they mean to you and she will make a custom arrangement. If you spend 100-150 it goes a long way and will be on of the more unique set of flowers your person will have ever received.

A little shop of flowers arranged my bouquet for my little courthouse wedding. My husband went in and asked for something purple and what he surprised me with on our wedding day was so beautiful and she even thought of giving him a boutonniere to top it all off. I always heard wonderful things about this florist, but now I know she is the best! Thank you for making my wedding that much more beautiful.

I ordered flowers for same day delivery with apprehension. This is always a mixed bag with a new florist. W-O-W. Not only did they deliver on the aesthetics, they did it in a timely fashion. My wife loved the flowers. They were vibrant and mesmerizing. There was a small snafu with the packaging but they rectified it quickly. Thats what nailed it for me. Certainly would recommend them.

On Saturday (the day after Valentines Day) I ordered a funeral spray from this shop for a funeral on Monday morning. I had no experience with this florist, but read reviews on Yelp. The shop was very friendly and was able to give us just what we asked for. The spray was delivered on time and was beautiful. I would highly recommend this florist and will definitely use them again.

I ordered a dozen red roses for my special someone. The roses were delivered promptly, but the assistant taking the order didnt know they were out of red and delivered another color instead, which were nonetheless beautiful. When the store manager found out she offered tp provide a dozen red roses delivered free when requested. Nice. Ill certainly use them again.

Fantastic little store with everything you need. Staff was extremely helpful and guided me through my custom arrangement (which my girlfriend loved), while still letting me make the final decisions (or at least letting me FEEL like I was making the final decisions, lol). Wonderful experience and I will be going here for all my future floral needs.

Good quality florists. The flowers are always fresh , every time i go they usually have flowers that are in season but they can usually get by order any flower that you want. The family working here is really nice and they are usually really good at knowing every kind of flower there is and their lifetime spam and how to take care of them.

I have used this florist for several years now. They have been reliable and for the most part easy to do business with. My last purchase from them was for my wifes birthday. A giant bouquet of flowers in a tall vase. She loved it. Ill be calling or stopping by for the the next occasion (or no reason at all) soon!
