I have gotten flowers from this place twice. The first time they didnt have the arrangement I wanted so I ordered an alternative arrangement that was 50% more expensive. When I went to pick them up the flowers hadnt even started to bloom. The owner informed me that WHEN they bloom the arrangement would be nice. Of course, the occasion was that day. I might as well have gone to Home Depot and gotten some bulbs and told my girlfriend, “Hey, they WILL be nice flowers.” The second time they claimed to be able to get the arrangement I requested, but then called me at 1:30pm on the delivery day (when they were supposed to be delivered) to tell me that they actually could not get those flowers. I asked that they wait while I picked an arrangement on their website at which point I was told that they "dont actually have all the flowers on the website." The bottom line is that these people have nice pictures up on their website, but dont actually have those flowers. Even if they did, the place is still way overpriced given their subpar actual product. With so many other florists in DC, this place is a waste of your time and money.

I used Convention Floral to provide flowers for my wedding this summer, and Nubia was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond via email (my preferred mode of communication), and as a bride on a budget, she worked with me to achieve the look I was going for at a price I could afford. I enjoyed how Nubia seemed just as excited about creating my floral vision (summer wildflowers) as I was. She is truly passionate about her business and enjoys new creative challenges. Nubia communicated clearly and followed through on our plan by delivering the flowers and personally setting them up in our reception space as promised. Most importantly to me, my bridal bouquet was gorgeous, as were the flowers and herbs Nubia arranged on the wedding cake. Nubia was a pleasure to work with, very sweet, unobtrusive and professional. I would recommend Convention Floral to any couple getting married in the DC area.

I want to take the time to write to all of you about my great experience with Convention floral. I placed an order at a last moment and it was late. Nubia the fabulous designer, was kind professional, she went out of her way to give me the best arrangement that spoke volumes and made sure it was delivered on time even though her driver team left for the day. I want to thank her for her excellent service and great compassion that she showed to me in the way of conducting her business. It is not only the money she said the flower business is a sentimental business...we cater to the happy, to the heart broken, to joy to success, birthdays well happy events and sad ones too...and to each we are there with our hearts and human touch to make every event a memorable one. Thank you Nubia and thank you Convention Floral for this great experience.

Im so glad that my wedding coordinator recommended Convention Floral to me. Nubia is very nice and listened to what I wanted in my wedding flowers. She is very talented and really knows flowers! She was considerate of my budget which is such a relief when it comes to wedding planning. On my wedding day I was amazed at how elegant and expensive the arrangements looked! Everything looked so much better than I could ever imagine! My mom and grandma loved them so much that they kept everything, vases and all, but my bouquet! My bouquet stayed fresh and fragrant for several days after my wedding. It was so nice to come home to it after a day of work. Thanks Nubia!

Trying to send flowers for my Veteran father to lay at the Tomb of the Unknown from The midwest was a daunting task. I didnt know the size, directions, protocol and my parents had never been to D.C. Or Arlington. Nubia was prompt in her responses, polite, helpful and her wreath was beautiful. It was delivered to my parents hotel way ahead of time so they could bring directly to thier scheduled appointment. Thank you Nubia for helping a daughter do something very special for her elderly sailor father.
