VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE; Bought a new 2014 Lancer SE July 2014. While test driving a few new Lancers, The salesman tried to talk me out of buying one insisting if he was going to spend $20k+ on a car it wouldnt be one of these. He pointed to some used cars on the lot and said I could get a better car for the money. (I thought this very odd indeed)...I told him this is the car I was interested in and because I commute many miles to work, need a brand new car. Once I selected the car I wanted, the games started. I talked to three different salesman...All of which had a different angle and tried to add on all these EXTRA fees. The oddest thing was that while I was waiting in the lobby, one of the employees was talking very loudly and rudely to someone about a late payment on a car. He insisted to the person on the other line he was a police officer and was coming to get the car unless a payment was made. Not only was this very odd because he was impersonating a police officer but I thought I was at a dealer, not a buy here pay here place so I almost walked out. I have a lot LEO friends who said this is a crime and they will be looking into this. I ended up buying the car and am happy with it however upon delivery, they did not wash it. I had to drive it home dirty. Never had that happen after buying a new car. It also had 180 miles on it and when I asked why, the salesman said it came from another dealer? They never sent anything in the mail or followed up with me. When I went for the first free oil change, they wanted to charge me $65 to rotate the tires...Really?? They would have only received one star from me but the only positive was the finance part. The finance manager was the only one who knew his job. He actually got me a better rate of finance. I just this week bought my wife a new Mercedes Benz at a dealer in CT and my experience was like night and day. Barberino should take a seminar from MB on professionalism and customer service!

cmon Brittany ... seriously just give it up. Are you trying to be a model or sell cars? Do you need attention so bad that when you posted the new Barberino Nissan commercial to your FB page you have more comments about your red dress and your looks than you do about cars? Have fun turning another dealership into a beauty contest/ fashion show. What a joke, oh btw how many cars did you sell last month? or maybe just tell the public how much you guys donated to the Hartfords Childrens Hospital? At $50 dollars donated per car sold (Johnny Mac brags that you guys sell on average 300 cars a month now)...sooooo did you guys send a $15,000.00 check to the Hartford Childrens Hospital last month? If you guys are such a huge financial supporter of the hospital how come they dont mention you guys on their website where they publish their biggest financial supporters? You guys are sketchy as F***. You should really follow up with the public if you guys are gonna use the sick kids to promote your business. Whats next puppies and babies? The Barberinos are nothing but thieves and crooks who prey on people with poor credit. All you guys care about is the sale no matter what it takes. Barberino Mitsubishi is already run by a bunch of nit wits, I guess if nothing else at least youll pretty up the place. p.s. sadly you will probably take that as a compliment.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. I was in the market for a new car, and was in love with the Lancer. I ended up going to visit them first, because they had the exact vehicle in the color and with the packages I was looking for. I would say that when it comes to purchasing things, I’m pretty well educated about values. I do my research. While their bottom line price for the car was fantastic, the value (or lack thereof) they were willing to give me for my trade in was ridiculous. Especially considering NADA, which is the trusted source for trade in values, was 3 grand higher than their offer. They also told me that this was the best deal I was doing to get anywhere in the state of CT. I walked out of the dealership with a disgusted feeling. Then their sales rep that I was working with had the audacity to email me a few days later and ask how I would like to proceed. Needless to say, I killed the deal with them right there. While Barberino may deal with a lot of people who have credit issues and no money to put down, I wasn’t one of those cases. I have since purchased the vehicle at Schaller Mitsubishi in New Britain. While they don’t necessarily have the stock and inventory that Barberino has, at least they don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Bottom line, DO NOT buy even a piece of lint from any of Barberinos dealerships.

If I could give this place 0 stars I definitely would. Exactly February 27, 2016 (8 months now) my mother got into a car accident with a deer that ran over her brand new Mitsubishi Outlander. The car was taken to Mitusbishis body shop where they repeatedly told my mom that "in two weeks" her car would be ready, that obviously was not the case. When we would ask the manager what was going on with our car, he told us that he had "no clue" and had no information on our car. When we would ask the lady in the back, she would comment back with rude, stingy comments. Extremely unprofessional for someone working in a car dealership, she obviously does not know how to control her mouth. 8 months and our car has still not been fixed because of "computer issues" with the car, which coincidentally keep repeating after they keep fixing it. My insurance has refused to pay a cent after paying a total of about $17,000+ and now Mitsubishi wants US to pay about $2,000 more to fix this "computer issue" out of pocket. With the rude costumer service and 8 MONTHS of continuous waiting, I think this company will have to re-think that one. ANYONE with any type of credit or trying to buy a new car, DO NOT, and I repeat and emphasize, DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP. They will WASTE your time and rob you of you money.

The worst customer service since been going to dealership. I had two cars, 2001 Ford Expedition and 2005 Ford Mustang Convertible. The mustang was having problem, and the Expedition interior light could not turn off, since we have baby I decided to get her a new SUV, instead of investing in the old car. Two week later my wife received a letter of pre-approval auto loan in the mail from capital one. We decided to go Barberino in watertown since the auto loan specifically addresses this dealership. When we got there we met a gentle, to be specific his name was Nick Inman he was the salesperson. He was really disrespectful. He started to disrespect me in front of my wife. He said to me, "you can sit in the car and wait, I am talking to your wife not you, since you do not bring enough on the table" all because he wanted to sale a car to my wife, meanwhile we have told him that we wanted a small SUV, I am knowledgeable about car so apparently he was getting angry because I didnt allowed him to taught my wife into getting a car instead of SUV . My Wife and I left, the next day we went to another dealership and bought $18,000 2011 SUV with 28,000 mileage.
