Between my brother and I, we have purchased four cars from Chris and they have all been good purchases. However, it was my experience on my most recent purchase that prompted me to write this review. I bought a 2001 Subaru and after a couple of months, there was a loud screeching sound. I brought it in to Chris and he tightened up the belts no problem, and threw in an oil change and refilled fluids at no charge, knowing I had just bought it and was going to drive it 1,600 miles to Oklahoma soon after. The very next day, the exhaust pipe snapped right by the muffler. I brought it in and, again, knowing I had to leave soon, he put on a new muffler and pipe, again at no charge. Chris is the type of mechanic to really take care of you and the cars on his lot are always a good value considering their age and how difficult it is to find cars at cheaper prices.

My parents have been taking cars to Chris for a long time. After a deer decided the best time to cross the road was the second I was driving by they convinced me to bring my car there too. Its a 2004 Honda Civic with around 95k miles. Still had a long life ahead of it. I talked to Chris and told him I was really hoping to avoid the insurance company totaling it. He worked with them to make sure I could keep my car. I picked my car up today and its unbelievable...I havent seen it look that good since I drove it off the lot. Chris wont BS you. Do what you need to do to get your car done there.

I usually do my own work so I havent had a mechanic picked out that I trust. After reading the reviews for Cerritos I figured I would give them a shot. My 2012 Honda Pilot was acting up and after looking online I found there were too many possibilities for me to mess with myself. When I called for an appointment they were busy but said if I drop it off they would try to sneak it in. A few hours later they called me and let me know I was all set! Fast friendly service and very fair price. I will definitely be back and would recommend them in a heart beat.

If you value honesty, this is where you want to buy your next car. I bought my car at Cerritos in November 2016. Three months after my purchase, the car began to act up (all machines do at some point). I took it back to Cerritos. They not only fixed the problem, but they also changed the oil and placed a hub cap that was missing for absolutely NO CHARGE. The great reviews I had read about Cerritos motivated me to buy my car there in the first place and I hope my experience motivates you to give it a try yourself.

I bought my 2000 Chevy Blazer from Chris back in 2008 right after I graduated high school. Nearly a decade later, its still running strong thanks to him and his crew. Chris has always treated me like a part of his family. His prices are fair, doesnt use cheap parts, and gets the job done quickly. Hell personally sit down with you and go over your options, which is something not many garages do nowadays. I never bring my truck anywhere else. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Cerritos for any repairs.

Chris was very honest with us and saved over $1,000 from the dealer quote on my sons car. He has done everything from full autobody repair to ABS brake work, to electric window work, oil changes, front end work etc. And each time the work is done very timely and have never had to go back for a problem. Only problem is he is so good and fair in pricing that he tends to be very busy.
