First of all I dealt with Hartford Toyota for the past 18 years and the only reason I bought my car from Middletown Toyota is because I couldnt find what I was looking for at the time which was the Toyota Avalon limited and of course they had one. When I saw the car on their inventory I sent an email and received a call within seconds. I made an appointment to go see the car of course when I got there they had the front and rear bumper taken off I was disappointed. Then this should have been a red flag for me . The dealership they claim to be would best be suited as a stealership because they steal and lie to customers. Anyway I proceed to purchase the car because the cars interior was very clean the miles were low but within a few months of owning the car I started encountering a few problems that I brought to their attention but they kept dismissing my complaints. I have warranty because I bought the car certified preowned besides I bought the extended warranty into 2017 and yet they continued to give me the come around.they painted the front and rear bumper I had to go back to them twice because the bumper developed a crack and my car was held for 4 days which during that time I had no car to drive they would not give a loaner vehicle. I had issues with my tires which they sold the car with suddenly I was told my tires are bad and they tried to sell me 4 tires. My tire air pressure sensor came on a few times went to them several times that to was a dismissal. I had a bad fan noise coming from the dash that to I brought to their attention I got a dismissal for and of course I have warranty all this time that they continue to make excuses for including the tire pressure sensor is staying lit on my dashboard . Eventually I couldnt take their lies and deceit anymore and decided to give Hartford Toyota a call spoke to a ver y nice guy called Carl who listened to my issues ask me to bring my car in on a Wednesday and no questions ask told me to bring it in on a Wednesday that way I have access to a loaner vehicle knowing I didnt purchase my car from them. When I got there I was greeted by Carl who listened to my complains and immediately took my car and told me I would have it back by 4:00pm and so said so done I had my car back as promised and all the issues Middletown Toyota rejected was taken care of by Hartford Toyota. I had a bad fan in my dash three unprogrammed tire sensors and one bad one that needed replacing .as far as I am concerned They dont deserve to get one star but decided to give one because they tried to be nice. The bumper they sprayed opened up a crack and I left my car with the body shop for three days got a call yesterday and they refuse to take care of it claiming I hit the car the same exact place the body shop had to do over again was not done because again another one of their excuses to take care of their lousy body work. If any dealership deserve 5 stars it would go to Hartford Toyota . I will never do business with Middletown Toyota ever again they are straight up thieves. STAY AWAY FROM MIDDLETOWN TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!

From the moment I walked in to test drive cars to the moment I left with my new car a few days later, the team at Middletown Toyota provided me with such an effortless and caring experience. Bob Blakeslee is perhaps the most down to earth salesman Ive ever met and never during the sales process did I feel pressured or cornered. Buying a car from Bob was like buying a car from your most trusted family member. Joe from Middletown Toyota was fantastic in helping me set up my Bluetooth in the new car and in running through all the great features of my new vehicle. Sherri in finance was amazingly helpful throughout the entire financing process and she must be commended for her diligent work and kind disposition. She made sure every last detail was covered and I truly felt taken care of by her. Bob, Joe and Sherri are just three of the MANY reasons you NEED to consider Middletown Toyota for your next car. They were also extremely helpful in getting the most trade-in value on my old car! So if youve got a trade-in as well, Middletown Toyota is for YOU. Of course, the cars that Middletown sells are amazing and that goes without question. What really stands out are the people at this fine establishment who all have different jobs in securing you your new car, but they all work seamlessly together like a well oiled machine. I will be recommending Middletown Toyota to my friends and family. I made an appointment to have my Autobutler treatment done at Middletown Toyota, I was told I could have it done at any participating dealership. I chose this one because it was a convenient for me. One of the perks of this treatment is that they offer to clean the inside also for a small additional fee. $9!! The dealership’s facilitate this paint protection process and payment comes from the Autobutler people who sell this warranty to consumers like me. When I made the appointment the girl on the phone seemed bothered to even talk to me and told me that they did not offer shuttle service so I was going to have to wait or leave my car. Inconvenient but I agreed. . I also asked about the inside being cleaned and she told me that was correct, it would be a $9 charge. I arranged for a friend to drive me to work and arrived at 7:30am to drop my car. One of the employees directed me to pull my vehicle in the bay and asked me if I would be using the shuttle??? Really? I explained to him that I was told that there was no shuttle, he said he didn’t know why they told me that and said to speak with the people in the service office. The woman behind the counter was pleasant, I explained about the mix-up regarding the shuttle and she turned to a co-worker and made a comment about another girl giving out miss information and apologized about that. She then offered the shuttle and I declined as I had already arranged a ride. Then she asked if I realized that I was being charged $89 for this “free” paint protection. I stated when I purchased my vehicle; I was told this was something that was done every 6 months, a warranty on my paint. She said I did not buy my vehicle from them so I would be charged. I explained that was not what I was told when I made the appointment and she again reiterated how the girl had given out miss information. I did some research and found that a dealership will be paid from the warranty companies between $1000 and $1500 per vehicle for this service…and yet you let me walk out the door for $89. Go YOU Middletown Toyota!! I will be using my Chevrolet dealer who sold me the car… they will pick up my car, lend me one for the day and return it to me. THAT is customer service !!
