Great food and fast shopping. Aldi (which owns Trader Joes, which runs on the same "store brand" products instead of "name brand" items) is a wonderful place to shop. Having just one of every items means Im in and out in a matter of minutes, instead of wasting time hunting up and down aisles for the best price of the numerous brands youll find in other grocery stores. I dont find everything Im looking for at Aldi--sometimes I need something they just dont carry--but its never something that I need for my day-to-day shopping. I like being able to bag my own groceries rather than be sent home with 3-4 items per grocery bag. This way I can use my own bags and pack everything the way I want right up to the top so I can make just one trip from the car to house and dont have a dearth of plastic bags building up in my home. Their fruit/veggie section is a bit simple and these items dont always stay nice as long as they do when you get them at other grocery stores, but I just dont stock up and buy only what I will need for the next few days, which is fine. In regards to the reviewer who said the cashier smashed their eggs, Ive never seen any problems like this. Aldi has great customer service and if they did accidentally break something, they are quick to offer you a replacement. My only other recommendation is to bring a quarter to unlock a grocery cart, but youll get it back when you return your cart to the cart area by the front door. Lastly, I will say that when I first went into Aldi, I was a bit snobbish and turned off by the fact that they didnt carry brands I recognized. However, once I gave it a shot and tasted their store brand food, my opinion was totally changed. Everything is yummy and the prices cant be beat! $1.79 for a bag of baby spinach! $1.99 for a big bag of kale!

Great products, Great prices, very few things I wont buy their but their are a few somethings even non name brands cant top. The service their is great!!! They get to know you personally and it becomes a good time shopping. The people that complained about the products or the selection are people that thin they are better then others. The Hamburger and Quality price is great the meats are all good. Cereals are good. Produce fresh. I will not use their Ketchup but I wont use anyones but Heinz. Will not use their mustard either I will only use Guldens. But all around a great place to go! Just because it is not name brand does not mean it is not good. They do a great job of matching tastes in their product with the leading brands. Love this place!!!!!!!!!!

I love Aldis US. I wish the had larger EU Aldis too. Each store is slightly different. Bristol offers beer!!! Good selection of veggies, cheese, milks and other natural, gluten free and organic products as well as paper good staples like paper plates, towels and seasonal items that very from gardening, to cooking, dorm days, summer themes, etc. I love their granola bars, Girl Scout knock off cookies are also truly amazing and the prices are beyond affordable. Bring your a quarter for the carriage, your own bags and get ready to shop!!

ALDIS has a great selection of food and merchandise at very competitive prices! There is plenty of parking and is conveniently located next door to a pharmacy and right off of Washington street where there are a plethora of gas stations, banks, a Home Depot, auto part stores, diners and so much more! Just make sure to bring shopping bags or boxes to load your groceries as this store does not supply grocery bags!

If the store was as big as the local super markets, it would drive the competitors away easily. The foods are brands you may never have heard of, but some of it is better than brands you know and love, and for much cheaper prices. Service is great and youll always feel comfortable. Sometimes there is wait, but not too bad. I love the design of the store too. I come here frequently, and Ill keep coming back.

Prices good but only buy certain items. Limited selection. Pretzels good chips not good . Bought the aldi version of super pretzels they were inedible. Defrosted and fed to the ducks. Will not buy their meat I prefer fresh ground chuck from local independent market or stop and shop. My kids wont eat their cereals still buy the national brands. Butter cheese dairy a few grocery items is all Ill buy there

Its got the basics and those basics are solid : produce that is in good shape, respectable dairy, and decent meat cuts. I see ads for Aldi being in the natural and organic options but I believe that holds true only in the European market. If their products are noteworthy for healthier production, they do not indicate it on their stores.

Ive only been in here one time, but still that doesnt mean I dont have an opinion. Anyway, the layout of this place is fairly decent; however, it feels smaller than what Im entirely used to (stop & shop). Whatever the case, though, prices are okay and the sales still remain phenomenal when you least expect it

Good food sometimes but barely a real selection of good stuff. Aldi brand are more expensive than the real thing. And the biggest problem is the customer service which is almost non existent long lines as well as a jac asses for cashier

The price is right, but selection is small. On busy days will run out of essentials like eggs or milk. Pick your produce carefully, but otherwise there is little difference between their products and the name brands.

Just left aldi and i wont be making the middletown store my store the cashier needs an attitude adjustment or maybe a class in costumer service which is why his career choice lead him to aldi. Bad choice for him.

Best prices, and you dont have to sort through 87 varieties to buy bottle of ketchup. Also dont have to wait for cashiers to slowly drag products across the scanner at their leisure.
