I don t like Big Y. Its too expensive and the only real reason i go there is to go to the bank inside. I took back Big Y peanut butter that had been opened before i bought it and got a real attitude at the service desk. The expiration date on it was 2018. Customers shouldnt t be given the 3rd degree when they return something. Everyone knows if food had been opened don t eat it.

I broke a bottle of salad dressing. A young man in charge got another person and quickly took care of the problem. He was cheerful. Then the nicest bag person was concerned to ask how heavy my bags should be. No one ever does that! The cashier was also very nice. The atmosphere in that store was excellent! It was the Enfield store off of Hazard Ave and rt 190.

If you are a brand name shopper you might want to go elsewhere. Big y is determined to push their brand and therefore they are carrying lest if the name brands. Shopped there since they opened but am considering going elsewhere. What makes me continue going there is the have the best meats, deli dept and produce dept anywhere.

Great grocery store with hot food available that is fresh and delicious. I have tried their grinders, ribs, and even Sushi that is made fresh there. None of it disappointed. The employees are friendly and I never have to deal with lines. The store is clean and well kept.

My fav Enfield and East Windsor grocery stores for the majority of items, absolutely the best produce by far and excellent meal options for family or individual dining at a good price. Check out their giant grinders and fresh fried fish dinners
