The service here may not be great, but it isnt the worst either. And there are some who are terrible, but there are the few who are absolutely wonderful. The thing I like about the store is the easy access to the sales items. This particular Stop and Shop is very keen on keeping end caps, sale aisle, and other department displays neat and full. Management was shaky in the past, but the current store manager is very kind and quick. The deli and grocery you may be most familiar with, but its the older gentleman in the seafood department who delivers a good neighborly kind of service. He might be a little introverted, which is normal, but he likes to see people, and greet them warmly. Never too excited or pushy, just a relaxed hello. The cashiers seem distracted a lot, and sometimes are caught up in conversations with other employees, which is understandable, but some acknowledgement of some degree would be good. Mostly you get "Hey", or "Hi", and thats it. Whatever they could add to that would be much better than just a quick "Hi", then ignore.

I love this store. My order was 3 pennies short and the cashier put in the 3 pennies. So I had to go back in the store. I checked out at the new self service. The cashier helped ring out my order because I am is using the scooter. On my way out of the store I gave a nickel to the cashier that put in three pennies for me. She was very reluctant to take it but I told her someone else may need the nickel one day. Everyone is always so friendly and that ALWAYS makeup want you to come back and shop. Sandra A. Delvaille

The store is always clean and regularly has chopped frozen broccoli!! Its not always stocked in other Stop & Shops, but is nice to find in a convenient one near work. The parking lot is a little awkward, but as long as youre careful and stop at the stop signs, its not too hard to avoid accidents or traffic jams.

I love the expansion of the produce section. LOVE having the selection. This puts price chopper to shame. Organization of produce seems a little off, though. But if you are willing to wander through it all, its all good. People working there are helpful.

Standing at meat counter for last 20 minutes and the number hasnt moved. People are just walking away. Very poor customer service :( The one person cutting meat is the slowest moving at a snails pace. Very disappointing.
