I like the store and the layout very much except the packaged greens kale, mixed greens tend to be spoiled on a regular basis. I like the prepackaged prepared foods when it is freshly stocked which isnt always the case. I started shopping at the Darien store from when they first opened. I stopped buying the soups because it seems like the area in which the soups are kept is very unsanitary. I think they need to do a better job in the store now that it has been opened a few years; it needs slight renovations and to be kept cleaner. I do like the store and for the most part and the majority of the people that work at this store. The monthly sales should include more merchandise and the weekly ones should be more often for the prices are high but somewhat competitive. It does need some work and hopefully it will improve.

Absolutely the worst Whole Foods I have ever had the misfortune of stepping foot in. Go to the Westport store instead. The employees dont seem to know the layout of their own store. The packaged products I look for are always out of stock. When I ask questions I usually get a response that makes me feel like they just want me to leave. I remember a time when this store was the greatest, but all the employees I used to be able to get help from are gone and those that are left simply dont care and seem like they dont want to be there.

The reason it even receives one star is because I can not give it zero.It is a huge waste of time unless u make millions each year with over priced items in every category.Dry bland tasting garbage is another reason for one star as well as the fact that it has awfully unfriendly and down right rude employees. All of this leads up to when one checks out of the store and watches their entire weeks pay drained outof their cheacking account. A store I will deffenatly never go back too.

The management of this chain lost interest long ago and Amazon will perform the coup de grace, and finally finish off fresh grown produce in the area. I still find some one in a while at the farmers markets or Fairway, but good, fresh food its almost impossible to find unless one makes the hike to H Mart in White Plains. However, its easy to find pharmaceuticals they are plentiful and growing faster than fresh food. People make their choices.

Probably best salad/hot bar in Fairfield County. Tons of healthy options...quinoa, spinach, kale and a delicious selection. Tikka Masala, Grilled chicken, pulled pork, roasted veggies, fresh strawberries...they have it all! Darien has a better selection of hot foods compared to some of the other W.F.M locations. . Plus you can grab some delicious cake, cupcakes, sorbet or ice cream when your done offered right there in store!!

I have tried to shop here several times because Darien location is convenient. However, I have had to return salads for being rotten, wilted, pasta for being inedibly bland, the worst chicken pot pie I have ever had and tough,gristly steak salad.I give up. Doesnt anyone else notice how poor their prepared foods are?

Excellent variety of organic fruits and vegetables! I was amazed and happy to see they dont sell brands like Lays or other junk food items! Everything is fresh very well organized, the deli and their fresh made bakery items are very nice! Little expensive but its worth feeding your body well!

We come here every week to do shopping and its pretty well laid out. It can be a bit hit-or-miss with the ready-to-eat food section though, except the gelato is exceptional. The staff are usually friendly and happy to go the extra mile to help you find something or look in the back.

Walking into whole foods can be a bit overwhelming, but their​ is always someone from WF offering help. Im very impressed by the way they all nicely offer assistance with out being obtrusive. The produce is incredible and the prepared foods delicious!!!

The service was great but the ground turkey patties werent. I bought two packs of ground parties. Both patties were pink from front but brown from the bottom. I returned both packs and they refunded me. I recommend checking the meats before cooking them.

Easily the best and most well kept grocery store chains in the US. Everytime I go there it is a little treat for me(except when I have to pay). Whole foods also has one of the best employee bases. They are helpful and knowlegable.
