For all the people saying that you can find the same items at Trader Joes, you must be delusional. Trader Joes usually pushes "Trader Joes" brands and you CANNOT find the same identical items there in most cases. You may be able to find SIMILAR items but you must compare apples to apples if you want anyone to believe a word youre saying. If you are going to WBN because its a LIFESTYLE choice (you want to save the planet, you want to cripple the evil Monsanto, you believe that GMO foods have a profound effect on the body and would rather be safe than sorry, you like the idea of reduced pesticides and antibiotics, you do it because all your friends are doing it) then thats one thing. SOME PEOPLE do not have a choice. Some people have allergies, sensitivities or unknown health conditions and have correlated eating better quality food with survival. Some MUST eat organic or non-GMO to live. These people dont have a choice so the price on the food item is what it costs to continue to live. Can you put a price on your life? If you believe eating better quality food makes you feel better than you must make a choice, pay for the food or continue to pay for the doctors. Now, I shop there frequently and I can say that there are some items that can be found in other markets and sometimes even more expensive, however the VAST MAJORITY Of items sold at Wild by Nature are often reasonably priced considering the nature of its quality whether gluten free, non-GMO or organic. What WBN does do well is that it is able to focus on the above mentioned specialty items and bring them all together in one place. I must say that having the convenience of shopping in one location is likely less costly than having to spend time and money traveling to multiple locations to save $0.49 on a can of beans. If youre going to whine about something, complain about the size of the produce section and variety of organic produce. I think if they focused more on adding variety of lettuces and fruits, they may see more traffic AND if they lower the prices just marginally or offer larger discounts or have sales on those items, Im willing to bet they will see more shoppers coming for those items and picking up other groceries while they are already there. I must say though, that the fish department never impressed me. Im certain that its due to the lack of turnover of product. It rarely seems fresh and its a shame. I havent bought fish there in a long time and currently I do not buy fish there because of what I see. I may be wrong but when I shop there, the product doesnt appeal to me. I could be wrong. Lastly, the deli counter needs the most help in my opinion. Rarely is there a time when the attendants are alert to help you, are knowledgeable about the food displayed or show a little enthusiasm for helping (its their job, they should be smiling). A little culinary prowess in the kitchen should fix that; anyone not interested in making and serving food shouldnt have that job. Again, I think a critical look at the whole shopping experience can improve some aspects of it but overall, I think WBN does a fantastic job of bringing specialty items together in one place. BTW, you can find some of the WBN items at King Kullen, its parent company. And if youve been to WHOLE FOODS lately, you know that there are a far more "CLEAN" products at WBN than there are at WF. WF isnt as good as it used to be.

They have a great diversity & large selection of quality health foods & products to accommodate all your needs in one place. I wouldve given it 5 stars but I find them soooo overpriced. A vitamin I got on Amazon for $32 cost $52 there! And $2 for a Wheatgrass shot may be common, but they offer no discount if you buy them in bulk. Im lucky theres another great health market nearby where I can buy some stuff for less, but WBN is bigger & has more stuff that other places dont have.

The people here are wonderful and the selection is great. The Fishmonger here is amazing and one of kind. He always tells me what is the freshest fish and even points me in the right direction when I am feeling adventurous. The organic selection of fruits and vegetables are perfect and it is priced just right for you to not go broke trying to feed your family the best.

We have happily shopped at the Oceanside WBN since its inception. In particular, the bakery has always provided outstanding quality and service. Only this morning we picked up a special order birthday cake for the family. Carlos, the bakery manager, personally provided us with a truly elegant version of his signature chocolate strawberry shortcake.

dont waste your money , staff has very little knowledge of what they are selling..old moldy baked goods..prepared foods are not healthy or organic and can be purchased at any regular super market.. i was disappointed in the way they would not special order products as most health food store and natural markets will... I will not be returning here...

Not cheap. But if youre rich, an empty nester (cant feed the kiddies $$ here), or wish to fritter away your inheritance I cant think of a nicer place to do it. Lovely organic produce, bulk grains, tons off gluten free stuff, excellent banana bread, wild shrimp that puts the supermarket variety to shame. Bringa you wallet!

They are dangerously overpriced. I was appalled to find the same brands at Trader Joes for HALF the price. The staff is helpful (though not very knowledgeable) and the do have a large amount of organic greens that are hard to find elsewhere but be careful what you buy there.

Super expensive. Even the stuff that isnt gluten free or organic could be found at Trader Joes for a fraction of the cost as a previous reviewer stated. Some unique items though. Not a place to do a full shopping. One would go there for a few distinct items only

close to home and they have unique items I cant find at other local places. Some of the items are expensive and I do wish the prepared food at the deli was organic...but overall its a nice place to shop for good food :)

They have enough of what I need, but they could do better. Their prices are high, but Im willing to pay it for quality food. The rest I get from local merchants who also sell Organic or from online.
