Ive lived in Queens Village for more than 12 years. I remember the day it became Food Universe. The name may have changed but the "staff" have always been the same wonderful courteous people. Ive often inquired over the years who can i speak with to commend there professionalism. Ive since moved but I still go to my "favorite" supermarket. I am honored that I finally got the opportunity to express gratitude toward a very well kept supermarket because of a wonderful and product knowledgeable staff.

Its convenient, local and sometimes good sale prices but they have knack for failing to honor promo prices. If your not a stickler for reading receipts they can easily pull one(or many) over on you. I frequently have to go back to get my money for sale price that didnt go through kind of annoying.

The food is not fresh here, the items are in bad taste. Not fresh items. They do not have the complaint register if you want to complaint or if you want to give some suggestions. If you report to manager, manager says I can not do any thing. Very Poor experience. DO Not buy

Its a local gocery store, used to be C-town for many years but the fresh produce seems to go bad quick, so I usually dont buy my fresh fruits and vegetables from here but everything else is a go!
