(3.5 stars) King Kullen is on the pricier side but mostly with increased quality accordingly. Especially notable are their above average meats and upper end product selection (including organic, gluten free and specialty yogurt and ice cream) which combined with a convenient location keep me coming back. The staff are generally friendly but nothing that makes me feel I want to go there over anywhere else. Exceptions to quality / areas for improvement as of early 2017 include average to below average produce (I repeatedly found mold on sale produce or simply found the flavor / quality to be lacking much of the time) and their relatively limited hours, and possibly bakery as the non gluten free selection is pretty average /unimpressive. From my experience, I dont buy as broad a selection of foods, so for particular items they will on occasion have a good sale but not often/consistently so its not something to count on. They also stopped carrying my energy drink brand but thats more of an oddity, and it was on sale consistently for months beforehand so it is worth noting that an item constantly on sale will likely eventually leave the shelves.

Horrible service, employees act like they dont need a job. Whoever is in charge of hiring needs to take a look around the store, its all kids who put their conversations before anything else. Poor service, bakery and deli food is not fresh at all, and poorly prepared. If you hired employees that actually needed jobs, the service will improve. Like most of America today, youre hiring all the same people, or friends and family, and not looking for people of different races. Just dopey rich white kids that live with mom and dad, and dont need a job...this store would be out of business if the supermarket down the block didnt close. But a new one will open, you will be out of business, and then none of you lazy, incompetent kids will have a job, then no money to buy your weed and bongs while you live in mom and dads basement. Its not just that, youre store brand products are really cheap, and most everything in this store is overpriced.

Horrible! This store is grossly over-priced, has a horrible selection and the parking lot is a nightmare! On the rare occasions that Ive gone here (since Waldbaums closed), Ive always regretted it. Im glad there is a much better option that took the place of the old Waldbaums.

Terrible service. 10:00 pm and only one register opened....very long wait. I asked for help in locating some items and the workers had no idea where I could find them. By the way, every single self checkout was closed.

They moved in from secluded location to where Pathmark shutdown and seems to be doing well. As a shopper, the place is cleaner and brighter now. You get what you expect from supermarket.
