I recently bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2011 Range Rover Sport form Landrover Darien . I live in Mass and this dealership is 3 hours away .I looked at my Local dealers and did not find anything in the condition I was looking for. Also the prices were higher around me and the dealerships would not even negotiate price . I found my car listed on autotrader for less then my local dealers and called. I spoke with Brandon Campbell about the car. I told him I was far away and did not want to see the car if it was not in excellent condition as sometimes the pictures do not show the blemishes. Brandon offered to go the extra mile and go to the lot and take more detailed pictures and point out anything he thought may be a blemish. Less then a hour later I received the pictures and was very impressed. The only thing I did not like was a trim piece that was faded which Brandon offered to replace. I worked a deal out over the phone within 10 minutes which I was extremely happy with . This was the easiest I ever was able to buy a car. I made arrangements to pick up the car and did the following week. When I drove it back home I went through it with a fine tooth comb. I found a couple of small issues and called Brandon about it to see if he would handle it . Keeping in mind this is a 4 year old car and its not new I was shocked when Brandon offered and sent a driver 3 hours to meet me with a loaner car and bring mine back to correct my concerns . A few days later it was brought back to me in perfect shape. Brandon and landrover Darien have gone the extra mile and I wouldnt hesitate to make the drive anytime I need a new car. A first class dealership all the way.

Despite having bought and enjoyed many vehicles (BMW, Porsche, Land Cruiser, Fiat, Chevy, other Range Rovers, Volvo, etc.), I have never felt compelled to write about the buying experience or service (even when it has been less than ideal). My experiences with Elise have been altogether different and thus, worthy of relating. First off, note the plural in "experiences". I only bought one car but over the course of a few visits, test drives, offers, negotiations, I got to know her fairly well. She was uniquely patient, responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant, funny and above all, fair. While I dont know whether I walked away with the best deal ever, I do know that I was not taken for a ride (and I am not referring to driving here); she was as refreshingly transparent and forthcoming as I would imagine that anyone could be in her position. But the singular aspect which separates her from any other sales person with whom I have dealt is that she took the time to understand what I really wanted (which had many variables and evolved somewhat over time) and relentlessly presented well thought out options. Simply put, she was remarkably focus on helping me to understand and get what I wanted, as opposed to trying to sell me something. Not sure what else to state except that she is a very smart and cool person who I would recommend to others without reservation, particularly on making an investment in a depreciating asset.

This was a horrible experience and after putting down a $1000.00 and being low balled by the sales person, Lee Forte, who said our car was with $4000 less than what we know its worth. Finally we had to hunt down a manager, Brandon, who told me that "of course they are going to start low on the trade in and work their way up" And he also told me that they wouldnt be holding the car we put the $1000.00 and that was only being held for a day, WHAT? Are you serious??? And whats this extra Conveyance fee you are charging me $500 for, really just to keep my paperwork for 7 years, I dont think so. LandRover is better than that, we buy LandRover because we love the car and dont want to haggle with some used car sales person. They ran our credit card, and when I called them back to say we didnt feel good about our interaction, somehow we got disconnected and guess what, he never calls me back. What a joke this place is. So Im happy if youve had a great experience, but our experience was not good. It didnt feel dignified, I felt like I was dealing with some on the corner lot with a bunch of used car sales people, and you knew they were going to give you a good price, but then charge all kinds of EXTRA fees with bogus names, like Conveyance Fee -- I did call several car dealerships and no one charges this type of fee, even in CT. So we are sadly disappointed and moving on....

I just wanted to take the time to write a review for the AWESOME experience I had with Land Rover Darien with my out of state LR4 purchase. First let me say that this is my third range rover purchase out of state and I have NEVER had a dealer go through this much effort to make what I wanted happened when everyone else told me it wasnt possible, or honestly just didnt feel like putting the effort in. When I was calling around to different dealerships I could tell Kristina was someone I wanted to work with over the phone. She and Brandon were always positive, upbeat and friendly. At first they did not have the car I wanted in stock and just when I was about to have to settle with something else from a different dealership, Brandon called and made a miracle happen. Not only did they find the car I wanted, but were able and willing to do the cosmetic upgrades for me at a reasonable cost and organize shipping and paperwork for me. My car was picked up and to me within a day coming from CT to TN ! So I just wanted to give a big thank you to Brandon and Kristina for our gorgeous new Lr4 and for a fun, positive, and professional experience ! If you are local or out of state, please do yourself a favor and purchase from them ! - Jennifer

I went to Darien in October for a check engine light and it was my worst mistake. When I went to pick up my truck for the shop and as soon as i get on the highway the light came back on. I took it back to the shop. This happen 3 more times after that. It took them 6mths to get the problem corrected. When i went to pick up my truck i found out that they drove it and dent and scratch my truck and was about to hand it off to me without telling me about the problem but that was not the only problem my vehicle now had a new issues when i pick it up. After tell the rep about it tell me that i need to change my tires because that was the problem. I took my truck to another shop to have it checked out and to my surprize the guy told me that there was a lot of unscrewed part in the truck that was why i was experiencing what i was complaining about. I called back Darien and no one had no return my call. I paid over $6000.00 to them to get a problem fix but left there with a new problem. I would never take my vehicle back there to get any work done because theyre a rip-off.
