Went to get my concert tickets laminated, and when they handed it back, they had turned it completely black. The store literally did nothing to compensate for this, and even tried to make me pay. I know it doesnt sound like much, but when you dont have any pictures or videos from the most amazing night ever and have your only souvenir from that night ruined, it really upsets me. Not only that, but I was so close to about laminate an old family photo thats 15 years old. But to have their worker try to get you to pay and to "wait until their next concert, and you can come back and get them laminated" is very upsetting and not comforting what so ever. Their manager did wave the fee, but did nothing else what so ever and left me with blacked out tickets. They told me "the tickets might be on thermal paper so it couldve been the reason it turned black". BS. It wouldve turned my whole ticket black and not just the front. Theyre basically making an assumption and not scrutinizing the problem to prevent this from happening again. A messed up printing of a poster is something I could deal with, but having something ruined that Ill never be able to get another copy of is awful. To get nothing in compensation is even worse. I came in to get things laminated, and I walk away not empty handed, but with RUINED tickets. They literally did nothing whatsoever. They let me stand there in shock and frustration with nothing but empty words. DO NOT RISK DAMAGING WHATEVER YOU NEED TO PRESERVE AT THIS STAPLES.

by Jack 03/03/2010 I needed an HP printer and was talked in to taking the last box that had a big dent in it because they guarantee it will work or exchange it. I was assured my concerns were not real and they would make sure I was satisfied (unfortunately I /assumed/ this meant for a reasonable period of time). The printer stopped working 36 days (it was only used a couple times) after purchase and because I didnt get the extended warrantee, they refused to help and said I would need to work through HP. Instead of trying to help, the manager decided to point out a couple times the 14day return policy and that I should have considered the "Extended Warrantee" The economy must be getting better because customer service has gone down. Always make sure to kick the customer when hes down...So Im now home with a $500 paper weight and have discovered theres no helpdesk phone in the HP documentation. Its sad when a Costco or Sams club have better customer service that a specialty store.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in to purchase a laptop. They did not have it in stock. They offered to have it shipped to me or the store. I elected to order it online and have it shipped to my home. When the product arrived it was broken. On the invoice it said it could be returned to the store. When I took it to the store I was told I had to return it via UPS after waiting around for 10 to 15 minutes. When I inquired about their "easy return policy" the associate asked for the manager "Joshua " (he refused to provide a last name or employee number) did absolutely nothing to provide assistance. He just said thats the way it is. Worst customer service. Didnt have the product in stock, shipped a defective product then create roadblocks to return it. Im off to another vendor never to return to Staples.

Purchased a printer that was a floor model. Manager helped and we got a better deal than on-line through other discount venders. All the items were in a bag so we got everything but the box. We also ordered a shredder since they were out of the model we wanted, again good deal and it arrived in two days. The staff were friendly and carried the heavy items to our car, cant remember the last time I saw anyone offer to carry an item to a car! Had Staples print our new home plans with a rush on the order. They completed the run and called me well ahead of schedule. Not sure it it is this store or all the Staples in the area but we couldnt be more pleased with the service.

This Staples store is very clean and well organized, easy to find things very quickly. Customer service is horrible. No one ever approached me to ask me for help. Copy Center takes about 30 mins to get help and once I got help the employee was worthless, did not know how to help me on their online website. They have one use their own templates and have you do everything online. What the purpose of going in store then? Once I picked up my order, they wanted to charge me AGAIN, even though I had already paid online, they had to bring their manager in and I showed them the email confirming that I paid and they still urged me that they have no records of that whatsoever.

My sister was such a big fan of Taylor Swift and she wanted to get her and her friends front row concert tickets laminated until Staples turned them black and covered in thick plastic! You couldnt see ANYTHING! They didnt do anything about it because they couldnt but they didnt give her anything in return. The manager there tried to make my sister pay for the lamination too! I dont know how Staples still has business because they shouldnt. My sister is now crying and I bet her friend is too. DO NOT GO TO STAPLES! AND STAPLES, FIX YOUR BEEPING SERVICE!
