The majority of the employees are great! At times, I cant help having the feeling that Im always being constantly watched by their Loss Prevention security personnel. I understand their LP personnel lacks the experience and professionalism to ensure they are not profiling customers, but this is based on my personal opinion as it is very apparent. Its very annoying when the LP personnel always greet you with a facade. A simple, "Thank you for coming to Best Buy" would suffice other than, "Hi! How are you?" Also, as a former corporate security manager who have trained employees on LP legal procedures, laws, and operating directives for other retail operations, Best Buys LP personnel should be better trained with the knowledge that consumers are not obligated to show a receipt upon departure. I had to challenge an LP personnel who said very rudely to me, "I need to see your receipt." I simply replied and said, "No you dont!" Then he said that he cant permit me to leave and will have to take me to the back of the store to talk about this. I said, "You can try, and if you touch me, I will sue you." And so, I calmy walked out. I learned that employee no longer works there after I had filed a complaint. Price matches are a welcoming benefit and Best Buy does a superb job on earning my business to meet or beat online prices. At times, the store appears to be not neat with dust accumulating on products, exposed audio and video cables run, and merchandise not neatly stacked and displayed.

Meh. Meh Meh Meh. Came in to buy items for work. $700 TV? Took quick care of us, rang us up, got us out the door easily. Good deal. VGA adapter? Ruined packaging, asked for return policy in regards to the item if we bought the packaging already in such a state. Manager came to the front and said "it totally works dont worry". When it didnt, we took it back. Asked for advice on how to connect an older TV, employee in the computer section looked shocked and dumbfounded by every question we asked, said "Im not sure" and then just walked away. Nice. I guess its Best Buy, so what did I expect? If you can help yourself, its a decent place. But if you need help or technical assistance/advice whatsoever, youre in trouble.

While the prices are not exactly low, I figure you get what you pay for when computers and electronics are concerned. The staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. (for instance, when I walked in there for a can of compressed air, and didnt know where to begin, they greeted me at the door, asked if I needed help finding anything, and when I replied, yes they led me directly to the product I was looking for.) They didnt try to sell me more stuff than I wanted, and the checkout was fast, friendly, and efficient. I will be visiting this store when I need my next video game, computer accessory, or computer-related item!

Very bad customer service in the floor manger and employee, I went into buy a tv, the female that was helping the guy I was working with basically called me a liar, I showed them the bestbuy internet add, she said , no that was not their add, I showed them my email coupon, they said I already used it, I had to call corporate bestbuy to get them to fix this mess, I told the store manager, how I was treated, he ask me who they were, but nothing was done, I work hard for my money to spend at a store I have to work hard to proof I am telling the truth, corporate customer service was highly upset when I told them about this, bestbuy your people need retraining

Bought a TV, soundbar and mount and protection plan for the tv. The tv was open box and has no stand so had to get the mount. Bought from best buy in aurora and had the TV delivered to our house we closed on a few weeks later. Turns out the studs in our wall are 24 inches apart and the mount is for 16 inches. Went to this best buy to exchange for a MORE expensive mount and they will not do it because it has been outside 15 days. Working in retail I understand policies but also understand working with the consumer to come up with a solution. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER Service. Manger not helpful

Bought Microsoft Office software and it wouldnt work on my computer. Was told by an employee to bring in my computer and they would check it out at no charge. He said if they couldnt get it to work they would refund my $150. Brought my computer, they didnt know how to fix it and would NOT refund me as previously told. Then they wanted me to spend $200 to see if they could try a few other things. Or I could buy a new computer. What a scam. Edited to add that Action Computers were able to get the software to load in 30 minutes for $30.

Had a case of good customer service gone bad. Left the store without purchasing anything because the associates were TOO attentive and I got fed up with fending off questions and suggestions every 5 minutes. I understand the need for employees to help customers, but damn, some of us just want to shop in peace! There is a line between assisting a customer and badgering a customer. This incident went way over the line into badgering.

Terrible manager! Bought an open box mac book pro with the wrong sticker, they said it was a 2014 and it was a 2012 when I called apple. I was straight up lied to and duped but they wont take the item back or even apply the cost of the item to a brand new mac book pro - which is way more expensive! Terrible management! Duped and lied to! They just lost a long time loyal customer. Dont shop here

Decent store with lots to choose from, geek squad is AMAZING, helpful and awesome. Unfortunately the rest of the staff is too busy doing something else or messing around to notice you. When you do have someone come up to you, they act like robots. Ill be ordering everything online and having it shipped direct to my house from now on so I can avoid lethargic employees

Fair place 3/5 I felt underwhelmed. The place was eh. The staff wasnt anything above ordinary. The staff had no idea what I was talking about when I wanted thermal compound/paste. I hope, maybe I got the wrong employee. The rest was as usual. The cashier was nice. Wouldnt avoid this place, but I wont be swinging out of my way either.

Normally not a fan of this company, but this particular store has never been unpleasant. Staff is friendly and helpful, but most importantly, they dont breath down your neck the whole time. As usual though, skip it near the holidays and just order online, even an in store pick up here would be fine.

Joe from Geek Squad was really good and helped me out a lot. He answered all the questions that I had and was very helpful in providing accurate feedback on how to make sure I dont have further computer problems. I plan on coming back to see him with anymore computer problems in the future.
