Short version: I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in October 2015 and declined insurance on it. In November 2015, it fell in the ocean and got pushed by a wave 20 feet along the sand. So--water damage, salt corrosion, and every nook and cranny jammed with sand. Verizon told me it would probably never work again. I took it in to Loveland CPR and they dried it out, cleaned it out, put it back together, and it still works to this day (Sept 2016). Long Version: Day 1: When I took my phone in to Loveland CPR, they told me it wasnt extremely likely that my phone would work again, but they had a machine that could dry it out, and if that wasnt sufficient, they could go to the extent of taking the back off and hand cleaning it. However, taking the back off the phone held the risk of it shattering. I left my phone with them to do the machine dry-out, which didnt cost a lot of money, with the understanding that they would contact me if they needed to go to the extent of opening the back, and I could make that call at that point. Day 2: I called to see if my phone was done and the guy who answered said, "Oh, uh, yeah, so... about your phone... we werent able to get it to charge and the back shattered pretty bad." I was like "WHAT? I thought you were going to contact me about whether or not you were going to do that part." He mumbled something about that message not getting relayed to him. I was really disappointed that my phone was not only shattered but that it wouldnt charge and my data couldnt be recovered, and I ALMOST said to him, "You know what, just throw it out then if its useless." But I didnt. I went and picked it up, and indeed the back was shattered into little crumbs of glass. But I brought it home and plugged it into the charger--and lo and behold, it charged right up. So now I was feeling really ripped off, like they were trying to scam me out of my nice new phone by telling me that it didnt work when it did. However, I was super relieved to be able to recover my data (photos of my nephews from Thanksgiving = priceless!). Day 3: I called the manager of the Loveland and Fort Collins location and told him what had happened and expressed how I was upset at being told that I would be notified if they needed to open up my phone, and then finding out after the fact that they had already done it, and how I felt like I had been lied to by the employees due to the fact that they said it wouldnt charge when it did just fine. (At this time, my opinion of Loveland CPR was like negative 5 stars, and I was about to light up Yelp with a scathing review of my bad experience.) He was extremely apologetic and told me that he was going to (a) refund me the money I had paid for the machine drying and hand cleaning of my phone and (b) order me a new back for my phone free of charge and install it himself. Day 4: I went down and the manager was as good as his word. He succeeded in turning around my VERY negative experience into a positive one. He installed the new back to my phone quickly and perfectly. The end result of it all was that Loveland CPR succeeded in getting a phone working that everyone at the beginning said should not have ever worked again. For the last 10 months, my phone has worked fabulously (and is still working), and it proves to me that the techniques and equipment and know-how that the folks have at Loveland CPR are truly robust enough to handle really bad problems that kill phones. Thanks Loveland CPR -- you saved me from having to buy a new phone. I appreciate it!!

My iphone was very slow to connect to the internet no matter where I was or how many bars I had. I first took the phone to T-Mobile (my provider and where I purchased the phone) they said it could be the SIM card and I paid to have a new one put in. That did not fix the problem and T-Mobile said because I was just outside my warranty they could not replace the phone and chances were that it needed a new software antenna piece that could be just as expensive to fix as a new phone. They sent me to CPR to see if they could fix it. At CPR they were very friendly and told me to leave the phone with them. They repeated what T-Mobile said, if the problem was with the software it would not be worth it to fix it. They told me their trouble shooting would take about an hour. Three hours later they called my husband and told him that Id have to come in or call them back about my phone. They didnt explain anything to my husband or ask to speak with me. The next day they told me they tried everything to fix my phone but were unable to fix the problem. They diagnosed it with a software flaw, and since I was just outside my warranty Id probably just have to buy a new phone. I still had to pay for labor, fair enough they did work on my phone after all. After calling apple support I was told in a four minute phone conversation to try doing a network reset of the phone (it was the very first trouble shooting idea the support person told me to do) and that fixed the problem in its entirety. How could CPR not have figured this out? The tech person at Apple told me this is the first and easiest way to detect if there are software problems. I should have just called them in the first place, but I was told by two different companies that it was a software issue. T-Mobile tried to sell me another phone, and CPR charged me for labor because it couldnt fix what appeared to be the simplest problem. I would never take anything of mine to CPR, they must not have very knowledgeable people working there.

These guys are great. They fixed my cracked screen previously when it got dropped. Just had to wait for the part to come in once the secondary warranty approved the claim. I started getting a purple line on the screen about a month or so later. I contacted Samsung and they said to send it in since it would be covered under their warranty. Turns out the previous work through CPR voided Samsungs warranty (nice I know). Anyway, I took it back to CPR and they agreed to replace it for me for free even though they didnt have to. It was very much appreciated since the line was getting wider and wider with time. Ian took care of me this time and he was super friendly. Just had to wait for the part to come in again. When I took it in, it only took an hour or 2 until they had it fixed. Its soooooooooooo nice to have a phone that doesnt get random people to ask me what is wrong with it again. The people at this CPR have been great both times. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them should I need anything fixed again. Thank you all!!!
