My name is Megan and my husband purchased a brand new 2014 Honda Accord EX-L from the dealership on 10/11/14. Overall the initial negotiations and quality of service sounded like that went great. Upon reviewing all of the final paper work we purchased the vehicle with a dealer add on called First Place Finish, which is supposed to protect the vehicle for 5 years to the interior/exterior from any paint defects. I didnt see any additional paperwork in our finance/sales package that actually states what it protects nor anything that explicitly states whats covered during their warranty period. About a week after the vehicle was purchased I called the finance/sales guys to see what this product was all about and why we paid this additional cost for it ~400. They said its a coating that stays on your vehicle and its a onetime application and it protects against anything that may damage your vehicles exterior/interior from spills, toxics, etc. I still wasnt clear on this, so I went to the internet and did some additional research and everything ive seen from other dealers is that this product is applied regularly every three/six months up to their stated warranty period, i.e., 5/years in this case. I also reviewed the products website and they also suggest that this needs to be reapplied, so how can it last for up to 5/yrs from Frontier? As one consumer to the next I would suggest reviewing this product before purchasing your next new vehicle. The other buying experience that ive felt was different than my Honda car buying experiences was our post sales communication. We have purchased a lot of vehicles over the past 10/years and dealers always keep good contact with us to build relationships. From frontier we have not received any additional calls or survives regarding our sale after they sold us the vehicle. Overall our experience has been okay. At this point we probably will not be purchasing another vehicle with them though.

Normally I am pleased with the service that Frontier Honda provides. Made an appointment for them to look over brakes, alignment issue, air bag light on. Left my car there 10 am - 4:30 and was told it was ready to be picked up. Waited over 30 mins for paper work to be finished but then it was determined that they were not sure of the part that needed to be ordered for the seat belt (airbag light) and they would need to check something to determine. All the other issues were resolved. They let me take the car that night since it was closing time and I was requested that I bring it back the next day. I dropped my car off at 12 and came back at 5. Paid the bill and walked out to my car and the windshield was cracked right in the middle. I had to get back to work so I did not have time to go back in and instead called. I was told that they did not do a check in of my car that afternoon since the same ticket was open from the day before so they could not determine if the damage was already there when I dropped it off. I was also told " it happens sometimes if there was a chip or the tempature change from washing the car could have caused it". I asked if there was any responsibility that they were going to take for my cracked windshield and again told "these things happen". The fact that there was no information given to me that it was cracked before I got into my car is unacceptable. Whomever at Frontier Honda was last in my car before I picked it up clearly noticed the crack or whomever washed the windows. I did not ask that my car be washed to begin with and I appreciate the courtesy but if it means that my windshield is going to crack and no one tells me is bad customer service. Now I have to pay to get it replaced without any offer of responsibility from Frontier Honda where the crack occured. I am not happy with the service they have provided regarding this issue. Bums me out I had to write this review. : (

Since I can only give one rating for multiple departments, this is the rating I have to choose. I bought a new car from Frontier. Love the car. Buying process was good, fairly hassle free. Finance department (I do not remember the guys name we worked with) was extremely pleasant. No pushiness, just helped us finance the car how it made sense for us. Sammy in Internet sales was who I worked with most of the time. He was friendly and somewhat informed. After the purchase, when we needed to bring the car in for a defect, the body shop accidentally broke a part on our vehicle. I had asked Sammy to have the recall on the car looked at by the Service Department while they had the car. He told me that the recall was performed and required a part replacement. I knew the part that was a recall and the part replaced was in fact the broken part, not the recalled part. So basically he lied to us that a safety recall was performed, however, when I called service to find out what really happened, they had never seen the car. LYING ABOUT A SAFETY RECALL TO A CUSTOMER IS NEVER OK!! And no apology, ever. DO NOT DEAL WITH SAMMY VALDEZ! Hopefully someone else in sales is good, I never got a chance to find out. Derek, the Service Manager, deserves 5 stars. Even though none of this was his or his departments problem, he found out the real story and helped me out. He said that he would never condone anything like that, apologized profusely (even though he had nothing to do with it), and got everything fixed for me. Thanks Derek!!! If I lived nearer to Longmont, I would give the Service Department my business any day! Summary: Sales- NO STARS AT ALL. I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dealer again for fear of being lied to. Finance- 4 stars. Nice to deal with. Service- 5 stars. Honesty, friendliness, accountability. Derek will take care of you.

I went back to Frontier Honda because of my previous experience with my current Honda. The sales person I encountered was Elizabeth Frame. She listened to what I wanted. We were told at a different Honda dealership we could not get the colors we wanted, interior and exterior. Elizabeth showed us the book with the colors available to choose from and they were different then what the other Honda dealer showed us. We got the vehicle we wanted within 24 hours working. When we went to pick up our new 2014 Honda CRV-EX, Elizabeth took the time we needed to learn about our new car. She showed us how all the seats operate, Bluetooth, how to adjust the steering wheel, explained how traction control works, the radio, the clock, how rear view camera works, how the sun roof operates. She also explained about the engine and the oil changes, she explained how the vehicle would let us know what needs o be done for maintenance. She was much more knowledgeable than other dealership sales people. I will recommend Frontier Honda to anyone who is looking to buy a Honda. I will recommend Elizabeth Frame to anyone who wants to get what they want, not just settle for what is available in the lot.

I shopped around quite a bit... I can really appreciate the straight forward approach of my salesman, Chris Loan. After a lot of research... (yes an engineer who likes to read detail and observe), I knew where my trade-in was. I knew what a fair price would be for a new car. I did not need to be sold on the car I purchased by the time I had visited. Chris communicates and listens well. He shares his knowledge when you want him too and tries to understand your needs. He is sensitive to both verbal and non-verbal queues. He is knowledgeable in both the financial and auto world. I have purchased 8 new cars and 14 used cars throughout my life... And I would rate the experience in the top 3. Ultimately, in the closing, the sales manager was responsible for the final agreement and you wont be let down there either. I understand about business and there is a median one can meet where everyone is happy... fair cost to me, fair trade-in value and fair profit are part of the negotiation. When you communicate honestly and with integrity in that mind-set, I found Frontier Honda to be exceptional in this class. I have recommended them already and share my experience here.
