A friend of mine went here, as they seem to qualify people of low income. The asking price for a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 litre was $8,000. This particular car is listed on Kelly Bluebook for less than $4,000 in fair condition. I have worked in the auto industry for about 20 years, so She brought it to me to take a look. Hmm lets see, no battery hold down, one headlight missing its fasteners, the light was needless to say, not working.. Every single fluid on the vehicle was leaking, AC, oil, fuel, power steering, and the half shaft seals were leaking tranny fluid. It got worse, there was 3 inch of water in the spare tire compartment with a flat tire. The fact that anyone would try to take advantage of another like this is disgusting, this particular vehicle was probably not checked out at all, and if it was, then it was by someone who really could care less. It took me less than 15 min to find these problems. If anyone out there is reading this, and would still like to do business with this dealer, or any other, please take the vehicle to a local shop, or a new car dealer in Your area, and have it checked out before signing any sort of financial agreement, in fact ask them to sign an agreement to cover this cost if the car is not worthy of the purchase price. Even if it cost You out of pocket, it could end up costing You more in the long run if You do not do so! As far as You the dealer goes, shame on You, I have done many used vehicle inspections in my day, I may not be a master Tech, but the obvious does not escape me, You might want to consider looking into some new techs, obviously Yours are not doing what needs to be done. P.S. the simple task of rotating the tires might have given You a plus with me, but You failed there as well.

I would never go to car hop again They treat you all nice and tell you buy a car and then every time you walk in there after that they treat you like crap I go in to pay a bill and did not know they dont take credit cards in the office and so the guy gets an attitude with me He treats me like crap and I dont appreciate it He says well Im sure you know this they probably told you before with a very bad attitude and I dont think thats good customer service I would never buy another car from them every time you have to deal with them they treat you like crap I went into get another car which I was okayed for because I pay this one on time and just because I didnt buy it that day they treat me like I was a nobody so I found another place that would sell me the car because I do have better credit now and I do not suggest Lakewood carhop to anybody at all the one in Aurora seems to be treat you better I will tell all my Facebook friends and others not to shop at Lakewood unless they like rude. This is not the first time they have been rude. My daughter went there and they treated her bad also. So it is not an isolated case. The guy is a young man. Didnt catch name.

My wife and I heard about Car Hop from a few friends of ours and we had been surprised to have never heard of it being the company has been around since 96! While there we met the branch manager and a young trainee that was not yet quite ready for the full brunt of sales just yet, however she was very kind and helped quite a lot with what she could. Weve been through the big time dealerships before and we are simply amazed with how much more understanding and helpful the folks at Car Hop are. They didnt try to force us into a car we couldnt afford, or try to just throw off their junk cars on us like most car dealerships would do, and that in itself made me a firm believer in what they can do. The manager did all she could to get each customer squared away and driving by the time they left, although short staffed, I believe they sold at least 5 or 6 cars including my wife and mines! I enjoyed the experience so much, I actually inquired for employment at the location, as my wife and I went out on a limb to go way outside of our neighborhood to find our car, and we not only found a car but we met a GREAT pair of people in the process! 100% SATISFIED

Horrible customer service and worthless vehicles!! If I could rate them less than one then I would!! They charge way over kbb value for their vehicles and they add $500 more than the agreed upon price. And Im not talking about the interest....thats after interest and finally costs!! So if you decide to still go there I recommend you keep full track of how much you pay and I can guarantee they sneak in at least $500 or more!! The reps at Carhop dont know anything about the vehicles or your situation once you sign the papers!! So then you have to contact UAC and UAC representatives have horrible customer service skills and the employees, especially Kathleen aka Kate, are completely rude and disrespectful!! I had nothing but problems with the vehicle I got from them!! I recommend if you want a great vehicle for your money thats prices under kbb value and somewhere where you can get great customer service then go to Altitude Auto Sales. They will take amazing care of you!!

I went to another dealership down the way DriveTime (You know. The ones that everyone is approved!). I was looking at a $10,000 Chevy Cobalt. Nothing extreme. They said they could help me out. After offering me $500 on my trade they said they needed another $4000 Dow ! I said forget it and left. I was driving down Colfax and Ive seen the CarHop sign on so many cars. Seeing as my Blazer was on her last legs, I figured one last try. Nate was amazing. He said he could get me out of there in a decent ride for very little down. I really did t believe it but he kept his word. I test drove 4 cars I qualified for and fell in love with the Grand Prix. $200 down and paperwork done in less then 3 hours, I drove home in my new car. They really lifted me up when I was so down and at the end of my ropes. I even kept my truck. If you have poor or no credit, this is the place to go hands down! Thanks again Nate and CarHop!

Ive been in this location twice. Before even coming in I spoke to a woman on the phone to discuss if it was worth it to come in with only a little cash and odd pay stubs. She said yes. I got in, did all the paperwork. They sent me on my way because I didnt have enough money (understandable) thats life. BUT they wouldnt even let me look at the cars to validate if it was worth it to come in with the amount of money needed. So. I come in the next day, get everything ready to go, they send me on my way again, because of my pay stubs being between a temp agency to a permanent hire, which I specifically asked about in the very beginning. Now I have to wait two weeks to go back in and likely get sent away. Frustrating.
