Definitely full of non-competent rip-offs. I bought my car in September, within the first two weeks of having it, it had a bad transmission, took it to the shop, they kept it for three weeks which gave me high waters when it came to work, after I had to argue for a rental longer than the three days covered by warranty, and being tossed back and forth between managers and sales clerks. Then in November it started making noses, not to mention I asked them to fix the brakes from squeaking the first time I took it in, but there was another noise coming from the engine. I brought it to them, but since I didnt make an appointment, I would have had to wait... And I figured with the holidays coming around, I was going to waste time on them and if anything happened from the car, theyre liable for selling me the car the condition it was in. So I continued on, then in February the rattling got worse, finally made an appointment for a week later... On the way there, a ROD shot through the engine, leaving the engine seized and unble to drive. After having to coast it to a safe spot and walking to the nearest pay phone, I called the number on the card one of the associates gave me "in case of an emergency" and they said it would be 100 to tow the car. Seriously? So I finally had a relative dolly the car to the garage, in which they seemed unaware of the difficulty of the process and had us put it into the spot most convenient for them. The engine needed to be replaced and an oil pan. I call them up a month after I had dropped it off, and they needed a replacement engine, because the other one was unavailable. I call them today, a month and three weeks later, the sales associate says they have everything and hopefully itll be complete by early next week. -- Glad to say I know what people to avoid, you have better service with a drug dealer. Never come here, unless youre in desperation and time to kill, because thats what they do, they find willing participants and care not one bit about the energy they waste.

Called Medved on a Wednesday to make an appointment for my car. The check engine light came on. They said they could get me in on Friday which is perfectly acceptable. I also said while it was in why dont we do an oil change and tire rotation, which they said they could do. My last request was for a loaner vehicle as I needed to get to work and did not want to wait while they attempted to diagnose my car and change the oil. I was assured that would not be a problem and they would have a loaner ready for me and I just needed my drivers license, insurance and a credit card. When I arrived at the dealership and told the service person what I needed he took notes, but than gave me push back on the loaner car. Are you sure you cant wait 1-2 hours? I said I was sure I had a meeting. He then sent me from Chevy service to the Cadillac dealer in the parking lot next door to wait at a desk for someone to come get me a loaner. I waited 20 mins without anyone showing up so I went back to the chevy dealership to find out what the deal was. Apparently the person I was sent to was off today. The service guy than calls around and gets a pair of keys for a loaner. After he pulls it around he tells me we cant give it to you, it has hail damage that has cracked the windshield and it should not be driven. At this point I just need to get to work so I agree to take the shuttle service. 6 hours later from my office I call to see what the update is on my car. They tell me they only have 1 chevy volt certified technician and my car should be ready Monday or Tuesday at the latest.... WHAT... when I asked what happened to the 1-2 hour wait time I was told originally I was just informed they were very busy and only had the 1 certified tech. The entire service experience was poor at Medved. This was my second service appointment after buying my chevy volt at Medved. I am quite disappointed with the entire service experience and resent being bounced around and fed completely different answers through out the entire process.

MEDVED AUTOPLEX – The BEST we have ever experienced! In the 22 years that we have been purchasing cars, I have never been treated like we were at MEDVED. We owned 2 used cars, each about $4000 or more owed, and each needing in excess of $1500 of work done on it, while they both had over 100,000 miles. Starting with the wonderful sales staff – Jesse Gonzales, Billie McMillan, Iggy Neuschaefer – we were treated to about 4-5 hours of looking at cars, driving them, working out how they could get us out of both of these used cars and into cars that would be reliable, over a period of 3 days. Along with the Finance Managers Steve Powell and “Johnny” Medved, Jr. they were able to eventually figure out a way to get BOTH of these cars rolled into 2 separate deals. And, both of these included the purchase of a NEW car that had a warranty lasting nearly as long as the payments. The most amazing part is that this was done with us having credit that is much less than perfect. No other dealership was even able to come close, and we visited 4 others. One of them told us we would have to put down $6-7,000 for a single car (Our down was much less than ½ this for each car), and had the audacity to make us sit without being talked to for 45 minutes – then had the salesman tell us 2 days later that this was done as the order of a manager, but he had been told to keep working with us this time. We obviously left. Another 2 dealers could get us into cars, but couldn’t roll the old cars into the deal. We would have had to “Turn them in” and had repos on our credit. The fourth dealership simply had no ability to work with us. MEDVED has earned a very loyal couple for life. And we have already told over 10 people how well we were treated, and how they were able to work with us. We will recommend MEDVED to anyone. To top it off, owner Mr. Medved, Sr. came to talk to us personally. A first for us.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!! First of all they had the wrong mileage written down on ALL of the paperwork. We were told that it had 89,000 miles on it when really it had 96,000 miles on it. So we called them and asked them to fix it, they told us they did but they LIED and never fixed our mileage discrepancy. Within the next year our engine broke and our warranty wouldnt cover it because our car was 7,000 miles over the warranty limit. MedVed NEVER fixed our mileage discrepancy. Luckily though within the FIRST month of buying the car we had to take it back to the dealership to have the thermostat replaced, and they logged our mileage at about 97,000 miles. So because they never fixed our mileage discrepancy they had to pay for our new engine. AND THEY CUT CORNERS LIKE YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE!!! We were told we were getting a rebuilt engine when all they did was put a used engine in there from a JUNK CAR! Within 7 months of having the new engine it began knocking. We took it to our trustworthy and honest mechanic who then informed us that the engine was in fact NOT rebuilt and that the spark plugs were FORD spark plugs. He then told us that one of our spark plugs was not even screwed in all the way and was cross threaded AND stripped! MEDVED DIDNT EVEN INSPECT THE ENGINE BEFORE PUTTING IT IN. HOW COULD THEY HAVE NOT NOTICED A SPARK PLUG BARELY BEING SCREWED IN BECAUSE IT WAS CROSS THREADED? MedVed then told us that our mechanic pulled the spark plug out hot which is a LIE!!! The car was sitting at our mechanics for a day before he looked at it, there is no way the spark plug was pulled out hot. They are refusing to right this wrong. DO NOT SHOP HERE! YOU WILL GET A PIECE OF CRAP CAR FROM A PIECE OF CRAP DEALERSHIP. AND WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH IT...WHICH IT WILL, THEY WILL CUT CORNERS LIKE NO OTHER, LIE TO YOU AND THEN CHARGE YOU A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY!!
