11/29 Update: What Brady is reporting is false. He had my email and cell phone information to contact me directly and he never did. Hes also neglecting to report that he spoke with me directly, more than once, and failed to resolve the issue. His response is simply an attempt to rehab their image publicly. It took until 11/24 to get the washer installed, and over 20 contacts if you consider all of the phone calls and emails that have been placed. It also took me calling G.E. directly, AGAIN, to even find out when they were scheduled for the install, which gave me less than 24 hour notification. I had to change my Thanksgiving plans in order to be available for the delivery. Brady continued to be unhelpful through the process, and he was particularly dismissive of me and continually ignored communications from me. How did the corporate office handle this? Not that impressively. I called the Presidents Line. I received a call back from an individual on their clerical staff, who was friendly and kind, but ultimately only a message deliverer. Ive yet to hear back from someone who actually has any clout. There has been no satisfactory resolution to this situation for me. So, again, buyer beware; apparently you also get accused of lying as a dissatisfied customer too. Nice way to add insult to injury, Appliance Factory Outlet! 11/21 Update: So we still have no working washer. This washer, because it requires 7 parts to be replaced has to be completely replaced. Has it been replaced as of yet, even though that determination was supposed to have been made over 3 weeks a go? The answer is a big, resounding NO!!! Has Appliance Factory Outlet helped in this process? Not really. Brady stated that hed try to expedite the process, and he acknowledged that we have had to wait an exceedingly long time given that this complaint was initiated EIGHT WEEKS AGO, but after all, he said, "were just the middle man." So, this is a clear case of "under new management" not being a good thing at all. Trust me, unlike the last reviewer who said such glowing things about Brady, Im the reviewer potential customers should really be paying attention to, because Im showing you the side of this company when theyre not just trying to sell you something. Im showing you what happens when they sell a defunct product. The true test of a companys salt, in terms of their treatment of their customers, is how said company responds when something doesnt go right--NOT when theyre just trying to get your money. In this case, you should all know Bradys succinct summary of this companys response, "were just the middle man." I wonder if Ill get that same line from the corporate office when I call the presidents line on Monday? Is this your management style, Appliance Factory, "were just the middle man?" 11/6 Update: Still no returned call; still no working washer--now having issues w/t GE as well...still no help from Appliance Factory--if youre a wise consumer you will AVOID this establishment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 11/1 Update: Still no returned call; washer still not working; repair place is now saying we should appeal to the manufacturer for a total replacement. Where are you in this process, Appliance Factory? Washer purchased from this store ended up being broken from the get go and needed 7 parts replaced. Its taking over 2 weeks to get those parts ordered and replaced. That doesnt count the additional 3 weeks of increasingly poorer washer performance which damaged a few items by ripping the fabric and the fun minor flooding when it started leaking all of the water out of the front. When I called to speak to the manager about the inconvenience this has caused and extra expense (i.e., having to pay around 5.00/load at a laundromat) he just never called me back. Maybe my experience isnt typical of this company, but just hope and pray what you buy from them works.

Sketchy Place - Stay Clear Unless You Want Trouble! We bought a "new" refrigerator from the Appliance Factory. They sell new in box appliances and "new" out of box appliances with some "slight" cosmetic damage but otherwise under a manufacturers warranty. Our fridge was about $200 less than what we would have paid for it at a reputable retailer. They did not have a "new in box" option for the model we wanted, so we elected, with some hesitation, to go for an out of box option because we were told it was fully functional and only had a "scuff" on the front. When we received it - FOUR DAYS LATE, the "scuff" turned out to be two dents - meaning the salesman either lied or was misinformed. Either way, its bad news for the consumer. Since the dents could easily be covered up with magnets and possibly repaired, we overlooked them since it otherwise looked OK. After the deliverymen placed in the kitchen and left, we rolled it into position and heard awful screeching from the wheels and the fridge scratched our floor. There was no damage reported on the wheels on the delivery form, but they were obviously not per factory specs. After a week of use, the fridge started making a loud buzzing noise. We called the Appliance Factorys repair people (Brand Source), who said they could not come for over two weeks! We then called the manufacturer, who provided other repair companies and were able to come within a few days. The repair man said our two-week old "fully functional fridge" needed a new condenser! What a piece of junk! When I called to complain about the poor condition of this fridge, they basically told me to pound sand. My options were to pay an outrageous "restocking fee" of 25% to return it or try to get it repaired. I am never doing business with these guys again - they wont stand behind their products one day and are dishonest. DO NOT EVEN WALK IN THEIR DOORS - the people in this store are dishonest, incompetent, and just want to rip you off. In summary, here are the objective reasons you should stay clear: -incompetent staff: our product was delivered four days late due to a "system glitch" as we were told -our product had a major flaw even though we were told it was fine. Being out of box, they had every opportunity to verify that but did not. -no real store warranty other than repairs - they dont stand behind their products -repair service is very difficult to get (over 2 weeks wait time) -dishonest or misinformed representation of their products

My wife and I browsed the Sunday ads and found some incredible deals at Appliance Factory Outlet. It was the "Black Friday" ad. We started our appliance shopping at this store. The salesman Ryan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy in the slightest bit. We told him that we were going to go to a few other stores yet and would possibly be back. Ryan then proceeded to ask us to wait a second, while waiting he went and printed all the information about both washer and dryer, and the price for the pair so that we could comparison shop at other stores. We then proceeded to go to Home Depot, received absolutely no help from anyone, so we left. We then went to Sears where a salesman told us not to buy the brand that we were thinking of buying, and then proceeded to show us the same brand that he told us not to buy. We left then went to Lowes, again, no help from any customer service reps. We went across the street to Best Buy, we received help from an employee. We asked if they price match and they said yes. We told them that the ad was a "Black Friday" type of an ad, even though that was just the title, not the actual day. The rep said that it was an incredible deal and that she would need to get approval from a manager. But that she didnt think that they could match "Black Friday ads". We just told her nevermind and went back to Appliance Factory Outlet. When we arrived we purchased the set from Ryan. He told us that it would be available for pickup the next day. The next day came and we were told that our set did not make the transfer truck from the warehouse, we were not happy. Don the manager apologized to a great extent and offered us a 5 year warranty on the set that we purchased for our inconvenience. We accepted and are very appreciative of his customer service dedication. We did NOT feel pressured, taken advantage of in any way and will definitely be going back. Not only that, but Appliance Factory Outlet was $400 cheaper than Best Buy. I did not look at reviews prior to shopping here and I am glad that I didnt. I am very happy at this point with my purchase and the service that we received. Thank you Don and Ryan.
