We bought an LG range, dishwasher and micro on Black Friday to match the LG refridgerator we bought at Appliance Factory Outlet last year. We went to AFO this year because we got a great deal on a "scratch and dent" LG fridge last year, there were issues with delivery last year, but I chalked it up to a scattered sales person who couldnt get the sales transaction done right either. We knew exactly what we were looking for this time and seemed to get a good deal on an "in the box" set of LG appliances. Here were the issues: we scheduled delivery for the following Friday (and took the day off work), but they called Tuesday (yesterday) night to let me know that they would be delivering the range between 7:30 and 9am today (thank goodness for a flexible work schedule). They showed up right as scheduled, pulled the new range off the truck, took the box off and noticed that it was dented on the side (thankfully they did disclose this, it would have been easy for them to install it and Id never have seen the dent). The delivery guy, said something about checking everything to make sure it wasnt damaged before it went on the truck, but they clearly missed this, I told them to load it back onto their truck and bring me a new one. Then the delivery guy for the dishwasher and micro (we were TOLD the installation charges were seprate and non-negotiable because the company that installed the dishwasher and micro was a seprate company from the range installation, therefore separate delivery AND separate install charges, come to find out the "separate company" is simply a separate "division" of AFO) called at 9:30 saying hed be at my house from 10-1 delivering and installing. Good thing I happened to be here! Then came the nickle and diming. As I mentioned, two separate delivery and installation charges, they did not tell me about the EXTRA $10 that Id have to pay due to the fact that I bought an LG dishwasher (the brand determines the install cost? Stupid.) OR the extra $30 I had to pay for the "special" hose to connect my dishwasher. All that said, the dishwasher/micro install/delivery guy, Andrei was AWESOME! He was professional, knowledgeable and apologetic for all of the extra charges that we had to pay but werent aware of until he had to deliver the news, he was the best part of this whole transaction. I dont have a problem paying for all of that stuff, but out of principle, they should have disclosed ALL of the extra charges and not left them to the poor delivery guy.

What a wonderful experience!!! After months, and I mean months, of searching high and low for a very specific washer/dryer set (I needed ones that run on 120 volts and are smaller to fit a very specific space in a 100 year old carriage house.) I searched high and low for anybody who could/would be helpful. I most definitely did not find that at any of the big box stores, whats new, and not really even at any of the smaller outfits either. People just didnt know theyre product nor did they seem interested in helping me figure it out... Until I found this appliance outlet on Evans & Richard, theyre manager Extraordinare!!! He was such a breath of fresh air, so completely knowledgeable and helpful it was actually a shock! You just dont see stand out customer service often anywhere anymore. Richard not only had knowledge of this very specific product but he went way above and beyond when he offered to stop by our home after work to make double sure the product he was recommending would work for us! I mean wow! Going from not even being able to get someone over the phone to recommend brands to a manager who took time out of his life to view our space was incredible. Richard is the best in customer service and his company is lucky to have him, and so were we! We will actually have a washer/dryer by the time our first baby is born in January (ie lots of laundry!) Richard we cant thank you enough for your caring and willingness to help us!!! You are a life saver!

When I stopped by this establishment, I already knew what I wanted, so dealing with the salesperson, Mary, was quick and efficient. I was looking for a washer and dryer and she asked if I was interested in saving some money by accepting an "out of the box" washer with a slight cosmetic defect and I agreed. She had to order the dryer and gave me a delivery date. Sure enough, the day before the scheduled delivery, I got a call confirming the hours of the delivery window. The next day, the delivery team was actually a little early! (Thats never happened to me before.) They were quick and efficient. After they were done setting everything up, I remembered that I had ordered a washer with a cosmetic defect, so I started checking it out. It actually took me a few seconds to spot a small dent on the side. Well worth the extra savings. Ive also noticed that some of the recent negative reviews have responses from the owner. Even though I dont have any complaints, I find this reassuring. Id be curious to know if the people who had bad experiences got them resolved to their satisfaction. The mark of a good company is not the fact that all customers have a good experience, but the fact that bad experiences are addressed to the best of the companys ability! Based upon my one experience, I would definitely be willing to recommend this business.

you have got to be kidding...this was the purchase from H... I have been buying appliances for my rental units for over 20 years from Appliance factory outlet. I paid an extra $10 for a Saturday delivery, no Friday night call and no delivery on Saturday. On Monday they explained that the refrigerator was taken out of the box, and it was damaged, when were they going to call me? I had another delivery made on the following Thursday, the delivery guys said they would need $15 to remove the doors, I explained that it was a place of business and I was not there to pay the $15 (less$10 for the Saturday delivery). they said they would go ahead and deliver the refrigerator without the $15.00 they delivered but since they did not have the $15.00 they did not set up the water for the ice machine- I had to pay another handy-man $50 to connect the water. I have made call to the owner Chuck, and the customer service department asked about the installation...still no word back from anyone! life is too short, there must be another place to do business with.

Terrible customer service. We purchased a used refrigerator on Saturday. We paid to have it delivered on Thursday. They told us theyd call Wednesday night with a delivery window. No call came. I took off work on Thursday and called to see what the delivery window was and they said, "Weve been waiting for you to come and pick it up." WHAT?? I paid for delivery, its right there on the invoice! After six more phone calls, they told me that their delivery person is booked and cant make it but maybe we can come and get it. I took a day off for nothing! So we called them back and said wed make arrangements to come pick it up Friday after work. They told us that the fridge had been delivered to the downtown warehouse...why did they take it downtown when we live just 10 minutes from the store!!?? But now my husband is there to pick it up downtown and they cant find it and they cant find our purchase in the system! Id suggest doing business elsewhere, this has been nothing but a hassle and one week later, we still dont have the fridge that we purchased!
