When I first went into Herbies everyone seemed very nice and very happy, and I felt very comfortable being there, I was looking just to look. Not to take something home right then. Rick my sales man was wonderful, he was very clear when explaining things and was very personable. After about an hour or a little more Rick brought a ford explorer up for me to test drive. I had to run home adn get a piece of mail anyway, so that was fine, when I cam back I told him I liked it, but I thought it was too big. I still wanted to stick with an SUV though.. So he brings me a Lincoln Town car.. A car.. I drove that and hated it from the minute I started it.. I took that back and decided that I was going to get the Explorer.. All fine and dandy.. When I told rick that I was going to get an inspection of the vehicle, he went and got his manager Jose... Oh buddy, dont get me started on Jose.. Basically he was very pushy, telling me that the car was perfect that they give them a 27 point inspection and the car was FAB! I still wanted an inspection. I wasnt going to purchase the vehicle without one. He said fine and then I signed a contract that If any thing happened to the vehicle while in my care I was responsable.. Blah Blah, I took it, had it inspected and my mechanic called me within 15 minutes of me even dropping off the car. He said that he really didnt even want me driving it because It was unsafe. I got a two page list of things that were wrong with the vehicle.. I took the car back, and said I was no longer interested. Carla, who I adore so much, another one of the sale personel was wonderful.. On the way back out to my car, she chased me and caught my attention, She went over everything with her mechanice and they said they would "We Owe" everything.. Meaning they were going to fix everything no cost to me.. Well, I told her I was going to have to wait for a while, and I was going to think it over and talk to my husband about it.. We ended up talking with the mechanic and hea said someone treated that car like hell. They drove it, abouse it and didnt take care of it, and with as many problems as the car had it wouldnt be long before it broke down.. I ended up not getting the Explorer, but I think it was for the best. The people there are friendly, and personable, but very pushy and I dont think I would trust Herbies Auto, especially if they were trying to sell the car in that condition and for $10k no less! Go elsewhere, save your time..

DONT GET A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO SCREW YOU OVER!!! Specially the manager Valarie I dont even know how she has a manager position she is so disrespectful and unprofessional. Calling my boyfriends work just because he didnt answer ONE TIME she called his cell phone. She even called his work again even though he said to NEVER call his work the day before. Then when he was asking her questions to try to find a different solution she was nothing but rude and started yelling at him on the phone saying its going to cost 11,000 to get out of a lease for a car that is 07. Thats almost how much the car was priced and your trying to say its going to cost that much to give the car back?? Way over priced and expect you to pay 500-700$ A MONTH for a 2007 vehicle with over 120,000 miles!!! Rude and unprofessional!!! Dont go here this is by far the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with!! They dont care about their customers they just want their money.. as much as they can get! I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never even consider your unprofessional business. Nothing but lies saying we are behind on payments when he has been paying every month for the amount they agreed on and now she wants to double his payment!! We will definitely take our business elsewhere and if we need to get a lawyer to handle this we Definatly will since youre manager cant do her job right and is illegally trying to get more money out of us!!

I am going through them because I thought they were the only option I had due to bad credit and no money down. There is always something wrong with my car. Im paying $420+ a month for an 02 blazer and by end of my contraxt I will have paid almost $20k!!! My car broke down once again they kept it for a week then when I got it back it was leaking tranny fluid so bad! I have puddles of fluid all over my drive way. I took it back into them and they refuse to give people a loaner car while they fix yours. My husband just started a job and is now about to lose it cause herbies gives two craps about their customers. *UPDATE* So the other day I wrote a post about herbies when I was extremely upset/frustrated. I do want to say that I really do appreciate Reese for going out of his way to help us. Herbies was unable to give us a loaner car while our car was being serviced again. But Resse understood that my husband would lose his job if he missed work. So Resse has taken him to work on his own time with his own personal vehicle at 4am every morning. Thank you so much Reese me and husband do really appreciate your help. Im sorry for the negative post I left but I was very upset at that moment afraid my husband wouldve lost his job. So thank you again. Im still a little upset with things about this company but there are certain employees who do care and go above and beyond to help.

My experience was bad yeah me and my friends husband decided to cosign on a car we got a jeep Cherokee only bad thing about the vehicle was that the bumper was crashed but they told us that they will fix it they will fix it they will pay for all the damages so we go back a week later and we goto one place they were friendly but found more damages so they send us back to herbies so we go back and they are friendly but they only wanna pay for the one thing and they send us to another place I guess for cheaper and 2nd opinion so we go their and they look at it and see the same thing the other place did so he calls herbies and and talks to the Person in charge but during the conversation he says it looks like a fresh hit which it so wasnt because we took care of that car and we didnt damage it or nothing besides what was already in it so we go back to herbies and the guy who was in charge comes out and says oh I seen that before I left for vacation.... OK which makes our point its not a fresh hit we even have pictures of it the day we got it we took pictures... But yeah they didnt want to fix it and we took it back we didnt want to deal with bad customer service
