Well being as young as i am a new to buying cars i am obviously inexperienced. We purchased a 2010 honda odyssey from this location. I thought they ignored me when i told them our down payment was going to be our tax return after we pay some bills with it. They worked with me there but the was some miss communication. They were under the impression that my down payment was going to be around 4000 dollars. When it was going to be 3000 dollars. Then it came to my attention that we owe 11500 dollars on a car thats worth 6500. I was pretty upset and before talking with their manager i wrote a bad review about them. After we purchased our van my truck broke down. I told them Im going to have problems with coming up with the rest of our down payment because i had to get my truck fixed. They told me i can park the truck on their lot to get it put in their shop and get it fixed for very cheap. On a sunday i got my truck to their dealership and because they were closed i did not tell them i got my truck their and forgot to tell them the next day. I later came into some financial struggles and was unable to to pay for the down payment or to get my truck fixed. So i left my truck there for about two months on their lot with out telling them that i brought it, whos truck it was, or where i had put it. They let the vehicle sit there for 60 days or so and continued to work and sell cars around my truck. And when their manager grew tired of this random truck just sitting on their lot he had it towed. At this time i was out of town and was unable to check on my truck. When i got back i went to to dealership to check on my truck and when i got there it was gone. I was very upset because i thought either someone stole it or the manager towed it with out telling me to come get it first. I located the truck and went to the dealership this morning. I spoke with the manager about this whole situation and of course in doing so i made a fool of my self. The manager explained in great detail to me all three situations from his point of view. The misunderstanding with the down payment, he also broke down piece by piece what i payed for on the car i bought from him. He also explained why the truck was towed, and that they would pay to get my truck back for me. Now that i know what happened with this whole ordeal i realize i was wrong to write that bad review about their dealership when their professionalism with me and how this whole situation was handled was above reproach.

If I could give this place a negative star I definitely would. My fiance and I were basically told what car we can get, which was only one out of the "many dealerships" they have. The sales person and his manager was such in a hurry to sell us the car we fill out paperwork the same day with their finance manager, who had no idea what he was doing but made us believe he did. 2 months after we signed the paperwork for the loan to go thru the bank the sales rep called us to come back because of issues with the paperwork. We went back more than enough times. At the end of it all, the finance manager screwed up all the paperwork and was supposedly fired because he screwed " a lot" of peoples paperwork up. The new fiance manager, who bragged about doing this job for years was very unprofessional and doesnt return your calls but is requesting the same paperwork as the first finance manager. I called the new finance manager multiple times to verify I was submitting the correct paperwork but he never returned my calls and when I told him I called him and left messages he asked me what does that have to do with anything and hung up on me. I work in customer service and this place is by far the most unprofessional irresponsible group of people I have been went to. I see only positive reviews get a response from the "owner" but negative review dont get any type of response. I see where the employees get their customer service. Nobody can own up to the mistakes multiple people have made and everybody hands your problem off to someone else.

Please tell me how you go into a car dealership with a certain amount down and a certain amount of payments you want to pay each month and they begin by showing you the nicest cars on the lot that you know in your head you cant afford but you get your hopes up anyway then they come back and tell you actually youre going to need twice as much down than you actually have and youre going to pay double for your car payment every month? Tell me how thats right? tell me why when you go in there with the numbers you can afford they cannot find you a car that you can afford? they say they have to put the numbers into the system to find out if your car will work for a certain deal but they call themselves professionals and they cant even take an educated guess as to what cars and what prices will likely work for the money you have before they start showing you things and getting your hopes up. it seems to be a repeat of every dealership we go to. Anothrt valucar location called to resolve this issue but have done the same thing and offeres us very nice cars only to come back saying we need more money down and so it wont work of course. I will see if they can actually find us a car before i leave their review.

I highly recommend Phil Long ValuCar on Academy. I was VERY particular regarding my choices for a vehicle. I worked with Melissa, who I would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle that wants to be treated like royalty. It just so happened that the two vehicles (Outback or 4runner) I was looking for are hard to find in decent used condition with low miles and fair price, but Melissa found me the perfect vehicle!!! She stood by me for months, and searched for vehicles everyday. I could have easily gone to another dealership but being treated so wonderful was worth the wait. I was able to trade my vehicle in for a fair price, got the car I wanted which I now LOVE, and Dave and Tony were able to get me approved at a good rate with a reasonable payment. I have never experienced a dealership like this one and will continue to refer friends and family who are looking for a vehicle to Melissa. Albert, the GM is also the nicest guy and it is obvious that he and his team actually care about building relationships with their customers and less about making a buck.

The worst... It began as any other car buying experience... long waits, paperwork, standing around the lot while the salesperson runs back and forth. Finally found a car we liked and were allowed to take it home to get some extra paperwork and things they needed from us. We were told the vehicle still had to go thru inspection and we could pick it up the next day. Next day comes, they couldnt get to it. Next day, same thing. Then they get to it, but they find something has to be repaired or replaced (exactly what was a different story by 3 different people.) After 2 months, need 2 new tires because the alignment was so far off the tread was worn down to belt on the inner edges. 2 weeks later, new brakes because the rotors were so grooved they chewed the pads down. Rotors were also too thin to surface, so much for your inspection. Now after 5 months, the power transfer unit that controls the awd is seized and the car wont drive due to a leak that your inspection also failed to find. Good luck getting any more payments out of me.
