Rating this shop is such a difficult thing for me. There are many things that make it great, but a few that really turn me off to it. I will try to be my full reasons to words so people dont think this is just some grudge filled review. Overall, the prices are great and the selection of bikes is outstanding. I am posting this up in hopes that the owner, Andy, will read it and learn. No this is not my real name as I do not want to be added to the growing list of people banned from the store, so no use tracking me down. Lets start with the good parts of the the BP, which hands down is the staff. From the mechanic to the sales crew, there is a no pressure feel to the work they do. What does this mean? It means that when I have been in there to buy something, I dont feel pressured to buy something, or that the person I am talking to is just trying to sell me something just to make some more money. Robert is the best mechanic I have ever had work on my bike, and he is one of the reasons I still go back to BP. No matter the issue, he has always been able to fix it, and doesnt call me trying to up sell me after I drop the bike off. Even when going through my bike, he checks everything, not just what I am coming in about, to make sure its perfect for me. He really knows his bikes (loves BMX and Mtn Bikes) and is confident in his work, which is nice to see in a local shop. Honestly, The sales staff changes with the season, and many great people have gone through (Kristi for sure) but Richard has been there on the floor for the past few months, and he is really good with the customers. Every time I walk in to the shop, he greets me the same way, no matter what, and is attentive to what I am looking for or needing. He is honest, being honest about components and bikes, and helping everyone out. The nice thing is if he doesnt know something, he says so and asks or researches whatever we are talking about. It is nice to have that kind of service. Now the bad. The current owner, Andy, plays favorites with his customers. If youre not buying a high end bike, you dont get the same kind of service that those who come in and drop a few thousand or one of his friends. Dont expect it, it wont happen. His favorite customers get the best service from him, and it shows when he talks to you (or doesnt). There have been a few times where he has been helping me and someone else would come in and he would step away and not come back. It is almost as if he doesnt want new customers, and he really does drive people away with his attitude. And when he brings his kids to work, dont expect to have a pleasant shopping experience. They are running around, screaming, riding the bikes, and there is no control from their dad. It is a little overwhelming to be trying to talk to anyone while the kids are screaming and running around these bikes. The fact that he doesnt care about the kids, or how they are using the bikes as their personal jungle gym, shows the lack of respect he actually has for his own establishment or the customers. Lets get to the point of this. When I show up to get the bike worked on, I do everything I can to avoid Andy. His staff are excellent and friendly., but when it comes to dealing with him, it really becomes more hassle than it is worth. If it werent for Robert being there, I wouldnt even show up, and I know I am not the only one thinking this.

Dont waste your time or money! Left my bike there to be repaired within a week with having to order the part. Was GUARANTEED it would be fixed. Called a day ahead to confirm it would be fixed and was even placed on hold so they could double check. Drove down from Denver that day and called again to confirm and low and behold Andy calls and says he apologizes but the bike was never repaired and that I could take it to another shop. Not only did I waste gas money but time and energy. This jack wagon Andy is incompetent at best. Dont buy a bike here unless you like being treated like garbage. Dont repair your bike here unless you like rudeness, bad service, overpriced nonsense and NO service and waste of time.

Visited this shop for the first time today, with my boyfriends mom. We just began training for our first triathlon. Everyone was super helpful, friendly, and patient as we made up our fickle and fruggle minds. Drew, in particular, displayed outstanding customer service skills and knowledge of the products. This family owned shop and the employees are top notch. We will certainly be back!!

This was the most cost effective best experience renting skis I have had. The people here were so down to earth and personable! They went above and beyond normal service making sure I was taken care of. If you are in Northern Colorado area this is THE PLACE to grab your skis before you hit the slopes. Also the service was fast!

Called in today after they opened to get a flat fixed. Said to come on in. Then said they would call me when its done. Took about an hour and got the call! I feel like a bunch of businesses dont call back and we as a customer always have to check back in. Happy with service. Would recommend to all!

Of course I noticed a flat as we were pulling out of town on our way to Steamboat. I stopped in and the guys working fixed me up quick and had me on my way. Both times then Ive been very pleased.
