I had recently purchased a second vehicle for my family from Brian saying that the vehicle we purchased from him was great and perfect for our family. The first experience I had with cool rides and working with Brian was great the second time around however not so much. Within two weeks the vehicle that we had purchased started burning oil and we found the metal tank surrounding the plastic gas tank was almost completely gone. We found out it was having problems with the transmission also its misfiring, the seals are bad on the heads. When we contacted Brian he told us to go to his mechanic his mechanic told us that he had never seen any vehicle like this with this many issues and recommended that it wasnt safe to drive for our family and that we needed to keep the vehicle there for at least a week. When we contacted Brian back after we had seen the mechanic he told us that the mechanic told him there was no issues with our vehicle whatsoever and he sent us on our way with our children in the vehicle and told us to have a safe drive home which by the way is 3 hours away from Colorado Springs. We asked for a full refund or a trade or two at least fix the repairs that were needed and Brian refused to do anything for us we mentioned getting a lawyer and he laughed in our faces and told us to have a good day and to have our lawyer contact him because there is no law in Colorado on selling junk vehicles or lemons. Now we are out $2,700 for the cost of the vehicle as well as the repairs that are needed. If I were any of you I would tell everybody you know and spread the word do not ever go too cool rides of Colorado Springs they are very shady people and dont care about people who have kids or the money they spend on the crappy Vehicles they sell after they claim that their family establishment. And both of the times we purchased vehicles from Brian he told us that the extended vehicle warranty was a waste of our time. Youre better off just going to an auction by yourself or AutoTrader. So thank you very much cool rides for making my children go without. Im going to pray that no one else is foolish enough to purchase a vehicle from cool rides as they are more money hungry than they are concentrating on helping families in need of good running vehicles like they claim.

I recently purchased a 1998 Lincoln Continental from Cool Rides. This was an almost effortless experience compared to a previous nerve-racking effort at another nearby dealer. Keith was/is amazing...so calm and attentive. He made me feel as if I were the most important person in the world, which I know created a calming experience for me. Its as if he sensed I had the jitters. Maybe, maybe not, but I was a hot mess of nerves. Most important, he was so willing to work with me. Now, the car had over 200k miles, isnt perfect, and needed a little care so I took it in for an early oil change at my preferred repair shop. That morphed into a nightmare and I was too afraid to drive my car. After consulting with a few other repair shops, I learned that my repair shop is not trustworthy. (Never going to them again for anything!) I then decided to turn to "Mr. Calm" (Keith) who told me not to be afraid to drive my car and referred me to one of his mechanics. Another super nice guy whos honest, and also calm and attentive; and he took great care of my car for a mere fraction of the other shops quote. Also, the scare tactic was unwarranted. There oughta be a law! Anyway, when I am ready to purchase another vehicle, I will make my way back to Cool Rides. Oh, and their mechanic is now my mechanic. Thank you, Keith and Brent!

I had my wife purchase a 2007 Cadillac ESV. for $18,000 the truck had 4000 more miles than what was stated. I was deployed at the time ,but heres a list of issues I ran into. I was told a service was done, oil was beyond overdue for a change. Oil pan was leaking, transmission fluid was burnt. Rim was bend and wouldnt hold air. I had to change 2 tire sensor. The truck was missing odds and ends interior pieces. Skid plate was missing. My wife is not a car person and could not get a hold of me because I was deployed. I sure this dealership knew about the issue, it seem like dollar sign was all they cared about. IF I was home I would have never bought the truck, My saving grace was I was able to do all the work myself. I just want other to be very careful when buying vehicle from these guys. Check the color of your transmission and oil color. And remember the Lemon Law you have 72 hours to return a vehicle to a dealership if youre unhappy with it, keeping in mind they could charge for usage for those days. These repairs could have cost me well over $5000 if I didnt do it myself. I wish I could rate them less than one.

I would highly recommend doing business here! There could not be a better person to do business with than Keith at Cool Rides. My 18 y/o son worked hard and saved his money to buy a Tahoe from there and we got a great deal on a super clean truck. Knowing it was his first car purchase, Keith took the time to go over all the paperwork and purchase routine one step at a time with him, making him feel like he was a VIP making a top of the line purchase. Just a short time after the purchase we had an mechanical issue with the truck. Knowing there was no warranty with this used car transaction I decided to give Keith a call anyway to see if there was anything he could do. He went above and beyond helping us resolve the issue from two states away! This is a genuinely good man running a very reputable business and I am so glad that my son was able to witness how dealing with good old fashioned honest people can work. Not something you commonly find these days.
