Pros - Nice selection, although I had to question the quality of food since many of frozen packages had chunks of ice in them - indication of old. Seafood department is friendly and helpful. Cons - Smelly, unsanitary, overall the staff has lack of food knowledge; dont except most credit cards (Discover, Master Card, American Express) - only Visa. We just moved to the area and I had learned about Asian Pacific as I am an avid sushi cook. I had spent almost 2 hours at the store since it was my first visit and when it was time to check out the cashier told me they dont except Discover. I dont have a problem with their policy but at least I expect some politeness. The cashier was very mad with me since I had a full cart worth $200 of groceries, gave me some angry looks, and literally yelled across my shoulder to his assistant to unload the cart. Wow - speaking of customer service. Wont be coming back.

Great place to buy anything on the shelf but beware of their produce. Im a broccoli eater so recently I purchased some broccoli which I regret. Once I brought it home and cooked some of the broccoli, it had a very nasty taste to it like it was contaminated with some sort of spray or element that was added to it and no matter how many times I washed and soaked the brocolli in vegetable wash solution, it will not go away. The taste is hard to describe but it was horrible and bitter, it did NOT taste at all like broccoli. I dont know how to report this to the FDA but will figure it out. This was unnaceptable and I wasted 5 dolars for approx 3lbs worth of this nasty stuff. Beware of their produce! If it tastes nasty and contaminated dont chance it and put your safety and health at risk, return it and demand a refund.

While they have a selection of items that are hard to find in other stores, that is about where it ends. The store has an overpowering odor of spoiled fish. Heres the deal, if fish jas am odor, it isnt fresh. Fresh fish does not smell. I would not buy anything perishable. Also, Lee Hing Food Service is attached to the store. They deliver food to several area restaurants. Given the condition of the food in the store, this makes me nervous to eat out, without checking who delivers to the food. Last point. The good reviews on here seem to be biased toward the store. Employees or owners? I have to wonder.

I havent been to an Asian Market in a few years, so when I found this was in the area as we travelled through CO my wife and I had to stop in. Typically, I stop by Asian marts to try and buy an entire case of Coconut Water since its the best value to buy bulk. After walking in, I found my drink and so much more! The place is massive with just about everything one would need from fresh Asian produce, Noodles, seasoning, kitchenware, they even had live fish, crabs, lobsters and more! All in all, they had everything you would need or expect from an Asian market. We will certainly be back!

The biggest Asian market in town Fresh meat and a live seafood counter. Fresh fruits and veggies. Groceries for many Asian/Pacific cuisines are represented here; plus a bit of Middle Eastern, Hispanic, and Eastern European cuisines. Frozen foods, including ice cream, dim sum, and desserts. Fresh boba and dim sum counter with somewhat limited hours - Ive never quite figured out the schedule, but we stop and get a boba if theyre open One entire aisle given over to utensils, pots, pans, etc., including a modest bento section. Great prices, great selection. Helpful clerks.

I am from a predominantly Asian city in Los Angeles. We have several Asian markets. I am well aware of the foods sold, the prices, and the rhythm of the people who frequent the markets. Much to my surprise, I have found a little jewel of an Asian market here in Colorado Springs. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, the prices are good, and the adjoining food bar keeps the craving for Asian food well satisfied and missing Sam Woo. Moreover, I have met the manager who has been like the old family grocer from days long past. Good job Asian Pacific Market!

They have some of the lowest prices anywhere. I LOVE their discount produce. 5 pomegranates discounted to $1.50. Maybe 3 or 4 pounds eggplant- discount $1.50. And discounted produce will have brown spots, but wont be actually bad. Sesame oil half the price of King soopers. Very reasonable prices on a variety of amazing meats (goat, pork belly, duck, chicken feet for soup) Cheap spices. Enormous variety. Absolutely delicious deli with a wide variety of fresh foods. Cheapest Boba tea. (Only 3 places in the Springs have Boba tea).

I absolutely love the Asian Pacific Market. I used to live in Hawaii and was a little upset that I couldnt find little foods and snacks that i used to eat. Until one day my mom tells me about this huge store right off of Platte. I went there and found everything I liked and more. The store smells a little fishy, but they do have a little fish market towards the back so that is to be expected. In my opinion, everything about the Asian Pacific Market is perfect.

Great store, the selection is amazing. My family goes out of our way to shop here. The prices are great and sometimes better than King Soopers which is where we primarily shop. As for the fish smell it seems obvious that fish stink like fish, duh. Thats not a good indication for freshness. Ive been many fish markets and they smell bad but the fish is still great, too many sensitive noses out there used to frozen Walmart crap fish. Check this place out.

Theres not much option here for Asian food in Colorado Springs. Only this place has the widest variety. I go here for spices, pork bellies, banana, Spanish sardines and a leafy vegetables that I cannot get somewhere else. But for seafood and the frozen. No I cant . I cant believe that they would still sell the fish that smells so rotten. The fish looks like its been there for months. That can cause food poisoning if someone eats it

This market has a little bit of everything. From spices to fresh fish and cooked poultry, youll find it here. Im addicted to Mochi and there are quite a few at this market that are just great! I will admit that some of the prices are a bit too high, but the variety of products that are featured in the store make up for it. Also, be sure to check out the cooking supplies. Definitely a place that my family frequents.
