Did not get warm fuzzies. This is my local quilt store, and the first one Ive been to since moving into the area. This store has a decent selection of tools, their calendar is full of classes and events, and they are open seven days a week. They have a variety of fabrics by the bolt or pre-cut into fat quarters. My preference in fabric buying to to purchase coordinating packages of fabrics--jelly rolls, charm packs, layer cakes, etc... They had a very poor selection of these types of packs, which was disappointing. The employees seemed aloof to me. They were helping other customers, so I understand that their attention was elsewhere. However, they never asked me if I needed any help or if I was looking for anything in particular. When it was time to purchase, we did not exchange pleasantries and I got the feeling the employee would rather have been helping someone else. The most important thing to me in a quilt store is that I feel welcome and at home, and I definitely did not feel that way.

I love this quilt store and all the ladies in it. The ladies that own the shop have been my teachers since I first started quilting. They are patient and kind. They have a huge variety of quilting fabric and many classes that they personally teach. If you have any questions they are always there to help you. Anne and Lou take pride in knowing their customers by name and what they like. I recommend this store to anyone who loves fabric and quilting.

A wonderful store with good selection of quilting fabrics (including large selection of batiks), knowledgeable staff and owners, and low stress, well-informed classes taught by them and others. Were so lucky to have this store locally, as brick and mortar quilt shops have been disappearing. Good quilting tools available too.

I called to ask if they had some sewing supplies I was looking for, double needle & marking paper). They didnt have either & were very snippy in their reply. "We dont have anything like that. hmpf. Just use graph paper. (Hang up)" I havent been in the store though, Im sure they have a fine selection of quilting fabric.

Quilt Store focuses on providing a great selection of high-quality fabrics, well organized and displayed for ease of selection. NO JUNK FABRICS! Great discounts on last seasons leftovers and miscellaneous scraps. Great selection of books and supplies on target for quilting. Excellent staff.
