I am giving this place of business a lower score because it does not live up to its name. This location is basically a glorified Jo-Ann with the amount of fleece they have. It does not have the nitty gritty goodness of the Brooklyn Park location. It is about 1/5th the size thus way less selection. They have a nice amount of trims and sewing notions. You do not cut your own fabric. If you are wanting to dig through aisles of fabric attend the BP location. If you have never been to BP SR this location is a great, clean fabric store.

This review is for the location on Hwy 13 in Burnsville, MN. A very clean and organized fabric store with discount prices on a wide variety of sewing needs, from fabric to faux fur and leather. The customer service was excellent and they have a large selection of upholstery material. They even have complete leather cow hides. We will be back!

SR Harris is the best place in town to buy fabric. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The Brooklyn Park location has significantly more selection, but it can be overwhelming and a little dusty. The Burnsville location is easy to shop.

My first visit to this wonderful store. It is clean and well organized. Everyone is very helpful but not pushy. After reading about the main store, I was prepared to be overwhelmed but was pleasantly surprised!
