cocky open mic host. whats the reason to be so cocky like a bigshot when his name is not even a trademark like Bukowski or Kerouac or Dostoyevsky. the man should lead ones who have the courage to go up and speak out their thoughts and openness not just wait for them to finish and read his latest scribble on toilet paper. good variety bookstore with vinyls, cds, paperbacks, and some signed literature. the only thing i dont like is the host. he could be a bit more sincere and respectable and show less cowardice.

Had not been in here and almost 30 years nice to see you still in business not sure if still the same owners but huge huge collection of used books all categories still has the same old wonderful and laid-back atmosphere. They redid the stacks , squeaky floors add to the ambience. They sell comic books as well as CDs DVDs and LPS. Huge childrens books section. Clean facility clean restrooms free street parking and free public parking behind buildings.

Yeah they have a good selection of books but their service is not that great. The staff isnt all that knowledgeable and have some attitude. Ive been there several times and the only person that was helpful is not there anymore. Also, if you plan on selling your stuff here, youre better off selling it at a yard sale or somewhere else...

The new changes to this place are amazing! Theyve got so much more variety beside books. Music, comics, movies, records, art, but the book selection is also huge. And the manager Keenan is an absolute sweetheart and really seems to know what hes doing! You can sell off old VHSs, magazines, just about anything, too!

Books up to the ceiling, books for all, pink room books, blue room books. Art work and nostalgia music as well as current. Soft chairs for browsing. Local writers and poets encouraged and engaged. Love it! On a scenic downtown street and with other interstitial businesses. Parking on street.

Friend and I happened upon this place after eating lunch. I ended up buying some books for my son. The Minecraft books he likes are so much more at Barnes and noble. I got a couple here for 4 dollars each! They were used but looked new. Very large selection and pleasant browsing experience.

Its hot as hell in there!! But the employees are friendly and willing to help. Theres a big selection of books and they have multiple copies for various prices. You can buy a book and grab some coffee across the street. Overall its a nice little spot just wish theyd have air conditioning.

Visited with my niece and I just LOVE the ambiance! Plenty of seating, and a great selection at a great price (I checked and many of the titles I purchased in the bookstore were even cheaper than Amazons prices!) Support this mom and pop establishment, it really is a wonderful place
