Im gonna review the actual college not the bookstore. Im taking programming classes in rooms with no computers. Basically they ask you to buy a book and then youre listening to a guy talking about his opinion about a programming language that basically just contradicts everything that the book said and then you get to go home and learn everything by yourself. I took an online course with A.Patil, the instructor didnt show up on the first day, his online "classes" are awful, the video freezes, the audio is just horrible, theres a lot of background noise, its sad to think that he gets paid for doing a mediocre job and there isnt much you can do about it as a student. Going to the office is a horrible experience, all the volunteers are complete idiots, all they do is recite the schedule and phone numbers you can call, the library is like skid row, bunch of people sleeping all over the place, people are yelling at the top of their lungs like theyre in a night club, and no one tells them to shut up.

I worked really hard to maintain a 4.0 this semester where half the people in all my classes wouldnt even give a care. Library is always noisy and crowded, people go there to eat and hangout not study. Staff is horrible and rude. So after enduring all this i find out that my registration date for a straight A student like me is 3 weeks after registration starts??? Its been only a couple days since registration began and already half the classes i need are filled up. My friends brother who dropped half his classes and gets Cs and Ds constantly has his registration two weeks before mines too,he didnt have priority either. How awesome is this school?

The books I bought and their Strand prices: The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene - $11.95 The Omnivores Dilemma by Michael Pollan - $11.95 Complications by Atul Gawande - $7 Better: A Surgeons Notes on Performance by Atul Gawande - $5.95 I hear theres a rare books section on the 4th floor. Im so excited to visit that section sometime soon!

They keep charging me twice per semester for non payment. I have to bring in credit card proof every semester! I usually drop a class before the deadline and ask for a refund. Only to get a W next semester or an i for incomplete. Idiots... Dont waste your time or money here...

Excellent school with professors that push for your success. . If you think its too hard, McDonalds is always hiring. Lots of new classroom building going up. The campus is looking better every year. Parking structures would be nice because it is becoming more and more limited

Love Cerritos, just dont love the weekend kid classes. Mr. Kidder for instance, he wastes your time and money. We are hardly learning anything. Kick him out please... Need someone with more teaching experience. Save your time and money.( Acoustic Guitar so called professor)!!!
