This review is based solely on the inability to get into the store. After making a special detour to come support a small bookstore and circling around to find parking, I couldnt get into the store. I checked the stores website before driving here to verify the hours. The lights were on and someone was in the store, but the door was locked and a note taped to door stating they are closing at 6 PM (not 7PM) until October 31st. I arrived at 6:10. So I wasted gas and time. If you are going to have a website for your business, you need to keep it up to date or otherwise instead of stating your business hours, state "CALL FOR HOURS."

Very well-organized, with caring and personal recommendations/notes for featured titles. I always seem to find what Im looking for/stumble upon my next read here. There is a tree strung with lights in the middle of the bookstore with a bench around it.

The large heavy lady was rude and wouldnt even help us look for a book. She wouldnt even acknowledge us or ask us if we needed help. Its a shame because weve been there before and the owner was so kind and helpful.

Its the only used bookstore in Arcadia. Im here to look through their mystery and sci fi sections. They have a deal where you can return books for half price credit. Most of their paperbacks are $3.50.
