Before I pass judgement on Crossroads Pawn Shop, I want you to know why, and how I am qualified to do so...in the very late 70s after a divorce that left me with my water and snow skis (I was a Pro operating at 12 years), my 78 banana yellow Mercedes 300D, 10 dirt bikes (rode for Can Am to cross-train for the downhill), Ski Natique, Cessna 421, and modern art pieces worth approximately $330K in Chicago, but I was in Austin, Texas, and they were worth zero there. I was operating a glass tinting business that tinted approximately 40-60 vehicles a day, and it took a lot of cash flow to make it roll. I found Doc Holidays Easy Pawn in Austin, and Chris and I became very good friends over the years. Texas is allowed to charge 330% interest a month as I remember it, and Chris and I did business 4-5 times a week. It then became apparent to me, as a young businessman the importance of daily cash flow. Recently, this last ski season in Aspen, CO, I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know very well the young lovelies above from Florida, and we partied hardy at the X Games in Aspen. When I came back, I was cash poor, and it was the first of the month. I started adding up first of the month expenses, and realized that I was really short on cash, and for the first time in about 36 years I was going to have to find a pawn shop to help get past the first. I went online, and found the usual gyp joint, with rude, and uncaring assholes to assist you in squandering your valuables away for pennies. I then called Crossroads, and talked to a really concerned young man named Brian. In short, he gave me about two times what my collateral was worth to help me out. I said, "Help"...not "Screw me." He did everything he could to help me out, and accomplish my need. Thankfully, because of Brian, I got past the first, and his sincere, and gracious courtesy allowed me to do what I had to, and not spend an arm and a leg to get it done. There are many different demographics in society today, and even the better off ones than not need a cash call every once and a while. You can count on Crossroads Pawn to handle your needs, and get you home with grocery money to spare. Theyre mighty nice folks that REALLY do believe that THEY CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. With Crossroads, you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain!

Always a good experience! Always treated as a valued customer! One time I came to the crossroads, and there was about 5 customers with only 2 employees. So it was busy, and I knew that it would take a few mins to get to me. I did not leave, and I did not get frustrated either. Because I knew when it was finally my turn. I would be treated like family! Thanks Gary, Nick, and the rest of the staff! See you all again real soon!!!!

This is one of the best pawn shops, if not the best pawn shop i have ever been into. The service is absolutely great--the staff takes the time to show you items or help you find something in particular, and if youre selling something, they make sure they are giving you the best price they possibly can. Kind-hearted, fun, energetic people. I would recommend this pawn shop to everyone!

Im not exaggerating when I say this, but they offered me 5$ for a 250$ video camera that I wanted to pawn. The camera is in mint condition, and is not even a year old. Bought it in June 2011. They call that fair? They call that a good deal? Worst pawn shop ever. Save your time and money, these scumbags, are just trying to rip you off.

These guys know what there are doing...I went to another local pawn with an 1872 $20 Gold Coin worth $1800 in gold melt value alone and they said "were not a coin dealer" and wouldnt even look at it. Idiots. Crossroads knew immediately what they were dealing with and gave me way over the usual 30% value in a loan
