Tom Frillman

Jons Markets usually have good quality meat and produce at reasonable prices. There are two in the Van Nuys area that are about a mile from each other this one on Van Nuys Blvd and the other on Sepulveda Blvd. Both of these stores seem to have a lot of Hispanic and eastern European customers and their inventory naturally reflects that. Jons is not Gelsons. It is not full of fancy high end items. There isnt a lot of organic produce and I doubt that they have any Prime beef. The employees have always been helpful and friendly. The checkout can sometimes be a little slow but I enjoy people watching so it usually doesnt bother me.

No me gusta el customer servivice que tiene especialmente las mujeres que atienden con el envio de dinero son unas pesimas ni saludan al cliente, odio cuando un cajero no esta concentrado en su trabajo. Y la mayoria en esa tienda tiene una actitud como que el cliente nesecita mas a la tienda que ellos al cliente.

This place is horrible, they have really bad customer service. There is an Armenian female worker I believe her name is Diana. that just ignores all the customers and prefers them to leave, rather than doing her job and getting them a money order or cashing their lotto ticket. What happened to people actually wanting to work, rather a job is big or small do it right or not at all. I tried to contact the manager yet he is never there, instead they sent me the employee that works in the produce section. They said he was the only one available. This place is pathetic.

Maria G de Valdez, Assntn Manager - bad attitude, she being in management should be NICER.... not to me...and thats what pisses me off. there was a humble, Hispanic couple ahead of me...shy people. she gave was not nice and rude...like looking at them over the shoulder. then it was my turn, that couple still next to me, and she was being all nice amd sweet....wth? i understand if you are having a bad day....but regardless this is business and youre there to serve.... love this place but today saw this amd sucks.

Do not care for this particular store the store feels dirty, the people are not the most helpful it is expensive considering the product and parking is a nightmare, also cashiers are always speaking to each other in what I assume is Armenian, Persian, or some middle eastern language and seam to make comments about customers because they are always looking at people and laughing or making weird faces, just simply will not shop here again. I give a (-3*) not a (1*)

I come here for the fruits and vegetables, especially because they have a large fresh herb section which all neighboring grocery stores lack. And good prices on liquor other wise this grocery store lacks the basics of any grocery store. Some things included : swiffer, cotton swabs, more than 1 brand of peanut butter. GREAT prices on vegetables, but its not the neatest.

This place is great overall but they have unreasonable prices for things I could find at Ralphs and have it cheaper. Its a good market if you really need something last minute and especially if you live near it. But actually going here to do your grocery shopping? I dont think so. Youd probably end spending so much money for like having 5-7 items.

Best multi-cultural mkt. Ive found for old school deli n middle eastern style groceries. Real butchers serve u delicacies such as hog head cheese n blood sausage, while still offering standard American fare. A tasty variety sure to please any palate.

I just came here for something quick, and I probably wont be back. The staff was really nice, but the store just kind of seem run down, and its in kind of a shady area. The parking lot here is kind of scary. Its just not my cup of tea.

It is not a very well kept market place. It does have great prices on food items. Also the location is a bit of an inconvenience. The parking lot is shared with businesses that are run down. But there are plenty os spaces.

I got there for buying salmon fish the try to force me to buy hole salmon . But I asked them for sliced salmon. The responsible person for fish try to do sell pressure . No customer service .

No problem with parking ever. It is in same shopping plaza as 99 cent store but has a lot more parking. Jones has great Armenia. And international food. Great market.

Armenian run supermarket chain. Great Middle-Eastern and Eastern European deli products. Lucky if you pass the checkout stands though. Please upgrade to 21st century.

Im in there 3-4 times a week and Ive never had an issue finding anything or and I love the selection of meats they have and how they switch it up at times.

Great selection in the produce department. Always fully stocked. Vast variety of liquor and spirits. Deli is good. Avoid the meat department

The stores food selection is not like other supermarkets but they have a great selection of drinks at great prices. I recommend the visit.
