Really love supporting local businesses and have always thought highly of Jason and Brenna, and still do. However, after the service by your manager today (short girl, long ponytail), I am no longer going in.Went in to purchase a cat carrier and the price under the ENTIRE stack was 17.99. Upon paying, the total was over 27.00 with tax. My friend questioned the cost and the sales associate brought up the tag stating 17.99 and that a manager would be with us shortly. The manager came up and looked at the price sheet and the barcode and told us they dont match and WE, THE CUSTOMER should have checked that. Then she said a customer must have put it there ( the ENTIRE stack, dont think so). Never did she smile, apologize, or care in my opinion. She then told another customer she had managed for 4 1/2 years and is used to people like us. WOW, that just lost customers. She was rude and not at all understanding to their own error. To talk about a customer who is asking a valid question to another customer is unprofessional. I know Brenna would never allow this when I worked for her. Just want you to know that I PAID for price error. Could have gone to Target, but loved family business more.

We ordered 5 giant size Dogloos, spent over $1,000. One of the Dogloos didnt come with the plastic vent cover so we called them about it and was told they would find another cap and be in touch with us. Two weeks go by and no call from Western Ranch, we call again and get a manager, this time were told they cannot replace just the cap because the supplier they purchase them from does not sell parts. So our options are, we can load up the now used Dogloo and drive 10 miles to exchange it, or spend more money and order the vent cover through the manufacturer. (something Western Ranch is capable of and should be doing) What ever happened to customer service!

Get our chicken feed there, bought our chicks from them too this was 3 years ago and they are happy and healthy. Love the selection and they have the bigger bags for meal worms that pet stores do not carry. But they have all the supplies if you are raising chickens in the backyard and both male and female clerks are nice and have smiles on their faces. They will look for something with you when you cant find something too Happy to travel from Fairfield to their establishment, worth the trip.

it has a great selection, but the prices are as high as the big pet stores and this one guy- i believe he is the manager or owners son has been very rude repeatedly, so I rarely go there anymore. the rest of the crew is very helpful though.

There are bugs in the food in the little wooden boxes by the bunnies. I have gone there a few times to get guinea pig food and there have been bugs in it atleast 3 times, each time i have to sift them out because i cant return it.

Customer service has decline over the last few years. The days when Mari and Gary were there were the best!!!!! Everyone knew each others names and it felt "familiar" and "family oriented".
