I have been going to Bristol Farms in South Pasadena for 25 years. Now, I try to go on Tuesdays for the 10% senior discount. I buy things I cant get elsewhere. To start, their seafood is the best, and its mercury free, just very expensive. Excellent lamb shanks, reasonably priced. Good rabbit available. Meats good, but very expensive. Chicken good and not outrageously priced. They have many hard to get things and the better quality items you need if you really like to cook. My favorites: creme fraiche, gourmet cheeses, gourmet flavored cream cheeses, all kinds of hard-to-find spices, like vanilla powder or sugar, high quality cocoa powder or chocolate, many sauces, marinades and rubs, big selection of dips, great homemade tasting soups, great sushi, sashimi, and raw fish salads, wide selection of great nuts, hard-to-find frozen pearl onions, applewood smoked bacon, good selection of homemade tasting sausages, good olive bar, great selection of coffee & tea, honey, and specialty jams & jellies. Great pasta selection. I always order my holiday turkey or goose from here. I couldnt do without this store! Its weakness: breads & desserts. Not fresh. Costco or Pavilions are much better on those items!

I love love love this place and could easily buy a lot of things. They have excellent baked goods, great gifts, superior produce and prime meats. Im a foodie and I also love to cook. I get a lot of ingredients here that ordinary markets dont carry. Plus, their customer service is really excellent. In addition, they are very eco friendly with brown paper bags that have handles. Skip Trader Joes and come here for really good gourmet food.

Bristol Farms is awesome! I LOVE this location! I wish the size of the store was larger but it gets the job done. There are some GREAT people who work here! So nice, helpful, and friendly!!!! 1.) The fresh marinated seafood/poke bar! The salmon one is the BEST! 2.) The deli is fabulous! Get the peppered turkey! 3.) The bakery! You have to try their Cream Cheese Pies with Fresh Whipped Cream! My favorite is the peach!

Im only rating this Bristol Farms on one thing, but because its so rare to find in this area, its all that matters. Poke bar. Fresh ahi tuna poke is amazing, and you can buy it by the pound here. Its tasty and one of the only places I know of in the Pasadena area that you can buy it by the pound. Get some, cook rice at home, and have a poke bowl that doesnt break the bank too much.

Bristol Farms is incredible Gourmet Grocery Store huge wine selection impressive selection of cheese aged beef and house-made sausage the produce is flawless lots of organic options to choose from and an outstanding staff. The one downside is that you will pay for all of these products and services not exactly what you call a discount chain.

This is an upscale grocery store that I try to hit up everyone Im in so cal because they are the only place that carries Ginger Elixir (I use this stuff with my soda stream). They also have some good food bar items that I have not found anywhere else like build your own poke bar.

The cafe is great for lunch! The grocery store is excellent, but at a price. Very clean, well organized, with a great fresh seafood and meat department, exceptional cheese selection, and lots of great fresh produce, dairy, and some unique imports.

Great place to get quality groceries and quality meats. Theres a healthy, feel good vibe about this place that I dont get in Ralphs and other shops. I feel that people are more health conscious here and care about what they put in their bodies.

Theyre pricey for some things, but have some pretty great specialty items that make it worth while to go more than once a week. The staff is friendly and I couldnt recommend it more. If you want to impress someone special, come here!

Love their gift store, which is filled with fun handy and unique gift items. The grocery store, although pricey for staples you can basically purchase at Target for much less, does carry unique items that are so tasty!

Way too overrated and overpriced. Why pay these prices and deal with a Trader Joesesque parking lot. In a pinch maybe but save your money for their fresh meats and fish and do the rest of your shopping elsewhere.

Well stocked store with many fun, unusual, and hard-to-find ingredients. Worth stopping in! Parking can be a bit of a challenge and the aisles are a bit tight, thats the tradeoff for the selection offered.

The layout of this store was my worst nightmare. Every aisle contained Goods stacked much higher than 6 feet. The food selection is definitely high end and more costly than Whole Foods. Beautiful produce.

I enjoy coming to Bristol Farms even though the food is a bit expensive everything is delicious! Baked goods, produce is always fresh. They have samples and sale items are reasonable.

Love my Bristol Farms! High quality fresh fish, fruits and vegetables. I buy my Spanish or Italian prosciutto here. BF is pricey but quality cant be beat.
