We were looking for cardamom and whole nutmeg, but got sticker shock at the regular supermarkets. Thought about Punjab Indian Grocery when telling my wife that we should just find the spices at an Indian market. This place is great local resource for spices, teas, and snacks. Ill be back to explore the store.

It is the only Indian grocery store in and around Alhambra, El Monte and Monterey park. It is quite reasonable compared to other indian grocery stores. Perfect shopping place for students as their frozen section has lots of variety and everything is reasonably price.
