Prices are insane!!! I generally used to avoid it as far as grocery shopping goes because I cant get a weeks worth of food for less than $100-140, I used to get sandwiches or the hot bar they have there. The sandwiches have been terrible, theyre fresh-ish, and good, but you never know what youre getting. I order the same sandwich every time and get something a bit different every time as far as portions. Its fairly frustrating in that way. For example, ordered a reg sandwich with cheese, meat was just short of 2 inches high, NO JOKE, it was insane looking enough that I measured. Order the same thing, meat normal, 2 slices of cheese, Order same thing but extra cheese, INCH of cheese! Order no meat and reg cheese, 14 slices of cheese! Order no meat and extra cheese, perfect level of cheese. EVERY time its different. I like consistency in the food Im expecting. Their hot bar is good, as is the pizza/sushi bit, but other than that I refuse to shop here anymore. I go to Daves Market around the corner on dutton for sandwiches, and Trader Joes for groceries. Just got a weeks worth of groceries at Joes, spent $70.

Though once in awhile an item I want is out of stock, I always feel lucky to have this source of real food. I shop mostly around the edges, dont eat boxed/canned goods much, and this store shines in its produce section. I also appreciate the extent to which it carries all pastured meats. It speaks well for the management that I know most of the employees and have since it opened; employees tend to stay in their jobs there. Theyre friendly and super helpful, happy to order what I might not be finding and follow up with a phone call. It is expensive, but honestly since nutrient dense, pesticide free, non GMO food is the foundation of good health, Id rather spend top dollar on food (here and at local farms and ranches), and forgo some other things. I know the criticisms of the Whole Foods chain and some have merit; on the other hand it plays a big part in driving organic farming in this country at the moment and helps keep large amounts of land out of the hands of industrial farming operations and under sound cultivation practices.

If youre health conscious and want a wholesome nutritious alternative, Whole Foods is always a great place to shop. Youve a better chance of surviving the pesticides, herbicides and GMO foods found in other profit driven supermarkets. Whole Foods is trying to help wake us to becoming more conscious about the dangers of ingesting chemicals. Ive just barely survived my bout with cancer, and so Ive become more motivated to learning how to eat healthy. Do your homework and learn how to minimize your and your familys exposure to poisons. Teach your kids how to help prevent the physical and mental dangers associated with unhealthy eating.

I normally dont write reviews, but the smoothie guy today was kind of....rude. He got my order wrong not once but twice. Then it took almost 40 minutes to get a pretzel out, and I did not eat it because it looked like spit was on it. Perhaps it was my paranoia of complaining to the person making my food, but he said in front of me he "did not care" that he charged me 2 different times for the wrong thing. So I made the decision to call it good on eating the soggy looking pretzel. Side note, the smoothie was actually good just horrible customer service. He also probably saved me from eating to many calories anyways.

It is a misnomer that Whole Foods is higher priced than other stores. If you comparison shop for the organic, high quality foods in Whole Foods, you will find prices to be very comparable and often less than in other stores. I will only buy organic but since we are very poor we watch for the sales on the more expensive items that we want. We have become friends with many of the employees at the Coddingtown store. The employees there are friendlier than in some of the other branches. They seem happier. Management must be very good. Thank you

My first visit and I really liked it. The one thing that I noticed right away was the sincere "friendliness" of the Store. ☺ The employees were smiling and had a willingness to help me. I will be going back. I like the fact that some items are locally grown, looked fresh, and the cleanliness of the Store was good. A good Store that has a little bit of everything. For example, craft beers and regular beers, soaps, vitamins, salad bar with hot & cold items, and a coffee & juice bar.☺

While I am not a huge Whole Foods fan, they are a good store. I spend nearly all my grocery dollars at a combination of Olivers, local farmers markets, Imwallis Garden and Community Market. These folks are nice and have a good selection of items, especially cheese, beer, wine and coffee as well as bulk goods. I prefer to keep my money more local, but in a pinch they will do. The pub in side is nice though and good spot to meet folks.

Good prices and selection but not an ideal store for people with Autism or any audio sensory disorder. The music is louder than any grocery store Ive been in, even covering my ears I could still hear it blaring. Loud music makes everyone talk louder so overall not a good place to focus. Plus what is up with no organic food in the hot bar, come on!!

Left my debit card at home, unable to write a check, was not able to purchase my lunch. Spend thousands of dollars each year at whole foods. Went to Kaiser 1st. They took a check and scaned it and have you sign the receipt like you would for a credit card. They told me it goes through like a debit/credit card. Why doesnt your store do the same?

Crabby workers. They close the deli counter and an hour and a half early. And my kale salad wasnt chopped at all and they left the thick ribs on the leaves could barely chew it. In the salad there were huge chunks of dried Apple stuck together like 6 pieces so basically I bought apple salad. Disappointing. Not the first time.

Great beer selection. Decent produce. Mediocre hot food that costs too much. Cant imagine why anyone would do actual grocery shopping here though. @ roughly 1.75 x the price of Safeway or Luckys it not worth the effort. Locally if you want all of the above but with better cost and quality, then goto Olivers instead.

The last few times I came here I ended up leaving without buying anything. What happened to the salad bar? Ok marinated veggies are good for you but at $9 a lb! I cant seem to make it through the store without at least on employee almost running me over. Go to Olivers-it has a sole. Go to Trader Joes-it has value.

I live across the street from Whole Foods. I really want to like Whole Foods; it would be so convenient. However, my experience is that every time i go there at lease one item is out of stock or at least not on the shelf. Simple stuff too! Like peeled garlic. I love Olivers Market.

I cannot complain about the staff or food items, however their security person tonight was racially profiling my brother and following him all over the store. I have no tollerence for this so this Mexican will not be spending her money there.
