i loved this store when a friend took me there, but i havent been to this location since 2005/6, and never had any problems w/ the produce then, only later @ the springfield oregon store. anyway, shopping here was one of my favorite eugene things, even though some people could clog the isles. i could find most everything that i needed here, besides some organic items and spices, but they might have those now. prices for some deli lunch meats really went up in the area around the year 2000, SO when i found this place i could still get inexpensive pastrami which was very nice. i found the bulk section to be a major part of what made it great, BULK pasta, linguine, cashews, nuts, trail mixes, popcorn, nutritional yeast, coffee beans, and on and on! plus i miss the cascade pride five seed bread that they had, you cant find that in texas. plus they did have some vegetarian options like lower calorie veggie cheese which was great for me. the huge bulk containers of salsa, hansens natural sodas, bakery fresh italian bread, i could go on and on. you save $ because you have to bag your own groceries and they dont take credit cards but its worth it.

I ordered a pizza at leonardis inside winco, instead of making we wait, Colton let me take the pizza that was coming out to be cut up and put in the case. it was a simple but much appreciated gesture. As a business owner myself I notice it when someone young actually has customer service skills so I wanted to acknowledge him for that. Colton represents leonardis and winco foods very well. for the most part I have had positive experiences at this store and especially at leonardis. my advice ...if your looking to save money on your grocery bill and dont mind bagging your own groceries i think you will be happy...but keep in mind that it is busy and kind of warehouseish so when they are restocking it can get very congested in the isles but all in all a good deal

Usually Im okay with Winco....food is cheap there. Still I have to wonder why recently the produce is getting worse and worse. There are actually bugs on the grape tomatoes which are sitting there rotting. Why are the cucumbers so wrinkly....I mean theyre in season right? Last week I bought some Kraft salad dressing that had gone bad. That ones probably not their fault. It was properly dated. On that same trip I bought some lunch meat that had been accidentally sliced with a box cutter. Be careful of the frozen items. The stock is not rotated. If you go there at night you can see that for yourself. Ive purchased frozen pizzas that were a year out of date.

WinCo is my go-to store for that Green Dragon energy drink. Tastier than red bull, and it kicks in quickly. It might be the chlorine in it, but I dont know. Anyways, this store is fantastic, being a native of Everett, WA I quickly found the layout for this one here in Eugene to be very similar in layout and I knew exactly where to go. The only down side is that the employees probably dont like me that much because when Ive gone recently Ive been paying for my roughly $4 purchases in nickels or dimes because my card isnt accepted by WinCo for some reason. Magnetic strip works fine, but not at any WinCo.

This a great store with the lowest prices in town. Here are just a few examples. They give you money off of your total purchase price for using your own bags. Or you have the option to purchase bags. They have a great bulk items area. They have a remodled produce area. The store has a great layout that makes it easy to find things. The store is always clean. They offer thier own store brand on a large selection of items. The employee owners always say hello. And you can tell that they take pride in their store. Just give it a try and if you love it tell a friend!!

I cant bring myself to give five stars to any grocery store, but heres what I love about the Winco: Theyre open 24/7, so you can always get what you need. They have the absolute lowest prices anywhere. Their selection is decent, even with some hard to find items and organics. They treat their employees right. Employees own part of the company, they close on Christmas and Thanksgiving, and they pay decent wages and offer benefits. They are a discounter, so the ambiance is warehouse like and there arent a lot of staff circulating in the store to answer questions.

Winco has been the best store I have gone there even when it was waremart back in the day. I would tell you that it is the best store ever. The prices outbeat any other chain here in Eugene and Springfield Oregon. I would recommend this store and its excellent for anyone wanting to save money any day of the week. Awesome winco. 5 stars all the way!!!

Their chip readers still dont work! I use a debit card and my bank is really being cheap on the magnetic stripe it quits working very quickly. This isnt an issue at most places but here because they still use only the magnetic strip readers I cant buy here using my card. Guess Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

A good store. Though I was upset to see a fellow customer wheeling around a dog in her grocery cart. This unsanitary , unhealthy and contrary to common sense. As it was not a service animal im quite certain it also was against the law. I notified the management accordingly.

Went to Barger Winco at 10:00 am on Saturday morning. Aisles were uncongested and easy to navigate. Upgrade has eliminated the warehouse look. Employees gladly helped find certain items that have been relocated. All in all, a pleasant, unstressful experience.

I know Im getting a good deal at Winco. It may be a little cheaper at other store but not for my whole shopping list. I feel good about spending money there because the profits go towards the employees. That alone makes me want to shop there

If you eat FOOD, then Here is the only Sensible Place to buy Great Food and have some money left. WinCo is employee owned and because they all eat food too, they keep prices low so we can ALL afford it. Thanx WinCo...

Very nice experience shopping. Great prices on food and surprisingly household products/toiletries. Wide selection. However, I wish I could find a place to buy Poweraid Zero. If anyone knows where, let us know.

The prices are hard to beat, even by the store whose name shall not be mentioned (but it starts with a"W"). If youre new to the Northwest, you should definitely stop by WinCo. The bulk food area is my favorite! :D

Excellent prices on national brands, bulk cereal section and mostly helpful staff, plus open 24/7! Generics are mostly eh, and the produce section is better than Wal-Mart but not stellar, other than that amazing!

It was good however the cranberry or cranberry nut English Muffins were not on Shelves. I thought Winco carried them. Couldnt find any 7/29/2017 p.m.. neither were there any Cranberry bagels.
