Ann--Apr. 17, 2012 User-Friendly Computer is one of my favorite business locations in all of Santa Cruz County. The employees provide the very best customer service. I consider myself to be a complete luddite when it comes to technological issues. However, employees have always answered all of my questions patiently and have done their best to resolve any technological problems I experience. They even send out an employee to my home to hook up wi-fi, external drives, and any other computer requests that I experience. On several occasions, my computer or printer were analyzed and I wasnt even charged. I have also received computer instruction without charge. Cant imagine a better, more knowledgeable set of employees to assist those of us struggling with modern technologies!

Toshiba laptop that is only a few years old started having video problems when opening the lid. USC (User Friendly Computer) diagnosed for free, unfortunately the repair cost more than a new laptop. When I was searching for some files on the old laptop it asked me for my password that no longer worked. USC got into it and informed me of an issue in the operating system that randomly does this, not me, again no charge. I brought them a new laptop to transfer the old, very old software into the new system. We are back in business in only one day and at a price that was shockingly affordable. The USC team is experienced and they live up to their name, FRIENDLY.

The owner of User Friendly Computers is for reasons unknown to us is attempting to slander us on the internet. There is plenty of business for us here in Santa Cruz and we know nothing about User Friendly and the negative comments they receive. We have nothing to do with such tactics that we are accused of here. We ask that User Friendly act professionally and desist from further pointless accusations.

It has been a while since I stopped by for computer help, but today I nervously brought my dead laptop in and they were able to get it checked out and running in 10 minutes... and did not even charge me!!! It turned out to have had a little water damage and also was suffering from my constant over-use. They gave me clear and helpful information on how to keep it more responsive and trouble-shoot for myself in the future. Would highly recommend these guys. Thanks!!!!

So I took my lab top in because it was not charging when it was plugged in anymore. Instead of telling me that my power cord was bad and go buy a new one, they bought me a shorter, cheaper one for $45 and charged me another $95 for labor. Awsome! I will never go there again, I will tell my friends to stay away from there, and I will celebrate the day they go out of business.

Ive brought my computer here before for other issues, all of which were resolved in a timely manner. This time I knew my power supply was on the blink, so I just called them up, told them the model of my laptop, and the next day I picked up my new power supply for $12. Sweet. Plus I can bike there in like 5 minutes. Super easy breezy.

I have an old HP printer and Mathrew took the printer and fix the problems we had. no more noise they did a great job . I want to 3PC shops before I can go to these guys and they took care of me I went to three PC shops and these guys were the only ones in Santa Cruz that can fix printers

Unparalled customer service! Every time I have a question or issue after a repair, theyre incredibly nice on the phone or are willing to help you at the counter to get everything sorted it. Theyre dependable, do good work, and treat people with respect. Theyre the best in town!

Thieves and Liars! Was told I needed to spend $375.00 becuase they could not remove a virus. Got it removed after a second opinion for 75. They were rude and arogant when I told them. Un-Friendly Computers. Stay far away from these bogus, ill reputed people. Let everyone know.

I called User Friendly computing on Saturday to come out and trouble shoot a wireless connectivity issue with our home network. Service was great and the best part was having the timely response as I do much of my personal admin on the weekends.

took about two days to fix a simple hardware problem. daves said it would be over 2 weeks until my computer would be worked on. reasonable prices, and they got the work done in the time they quoted.
