I used to shop here all the time. Fun. cheap stuff I used as art supplies. Unfortunately, I had a couple of bad experiences and so now I shop at OTHER dollar stores in town. First off, I bought some toys that did not work when I got them home and took them out of the package. Dollar Tree would not take them back. Then I was shopping there one day and had a bad experience with the management, who was very rude to me. I could tell he was just angry that day and taking it out on me. I dont shop there any more. There are other dollar stores in Santa Cruz - one is downtown on Front Street.

Always a mess. Long lines, slow to open additional registers. Typically shelves empty with common items. Shasta Diet cola often missing and shelve space left empty. Candy and ice cream missing too. Inventory problems common seemly only at this location. Often asiles are littered with empty boxes.

I hate this dollar store they are a community killer. I learned how to skate in theyre parking lot well before it was built now they dont even allow it. And to top it off now my car is towed... go figure. Are the cheap deals really worth sacrificing locals memories. #destory$tree

Same as the other Dollar Trees. They have a small sign so that is not easy to see. Nice to have them here. This town does not even have Walmart.
