Today 09/28/2015 I purchased numerous food items including a package of ground beef at Walmart Westgate center, San Jose. Once home unpacking my grocery bag and pulled out the beef package, I noticed my hand a bit wet. The color of the moisture on my hand was light reddish. As I examined the ground beef package, I noticed the package is sealed with a very thin plastic wrap and the meat juice is leakage from the bottom of the package even as it appeared plastic wrap is not open under the package ( leaking since not air tight wrap and very thin wrap). I had to disinfect all the items in my grocery bag since uncooked red meat could carry numerous serious bacteria and it was possible all the items in contact with the package could have been contaminated. There is a good chance all other meat packages there also are leaking meat juice. Keep in mind the cashier also handled the meat packages and will be handling others items as well (cross bacteria contamination to many others). Parviz

I love to go to this store because of its convenient location, cleanliness, spacious aisles, ample choices and low price. You can even find some selection of organics and they are also at attractive prices. The staff Ive encountered at this store have always been helpful. But I agree theres a lot improvement needed to be done at the self checkout counter, regarding the software system. When it gets stuck, the store staff would have to struggle between the self checkout and customer service counters due to limited manpower. And the waiting line would be seen to grow longer and longer. Of course, this is the compromise to make in order to keep the low cost at Walmart.

Ive been to this store on a few occasions and while on the surface its very clean, new and well laid out, I am always left thinking I should have gone somewhere else. Prices are by no means special or lower than anywhere else really. The location is convenient with ample parking but no matter when I come here it always seems to move incredibly slow. Not necessarily because of crowds of customers but just general in efficiency. Overall, its a good enough store but I rarely find a reason to come here over any other grocery store.

Customer services sucks. I told an attendant about wrong prices and said i cant do anything about it. Next visit i had to wait to get a checker to come to registered because checker left several people in line. Talk to staff they said that there is no manager to address any issues to that i couldnt talk to any body and there was nothing to do about it. Staff are rude not trained and unprofessional.

This store is a convenience as far as location goes. But as far as selection not so much. They are consistently out of things. Every week they are out of one thing or another on my grocery list. I just dont understand why. Whenever I come here its always busy. But I get the feeling that this store my close in the near future.

Went there to return an item ordered online. Took almost 45 mins. There is software glitch hence eventually they had to work with walmart online customer support, but no attendant at the store was skilled to resolve it quick.

Checkers are friendly. Self checkout sucks. Prices are low. Selection of food is as good as any other food store. I shop there all the time. NOT enough checkers to many times.
