The prices are usually cheaper than other places, but this isnt enough to earn my patronage. The service has mostly been a bad experience. When I ask where an item is at, 4 out of 5 times the staff did nothing more than point in a general direction.... no help (are you pointing towards the back corner of the store or the next department over?). Once or twice I only got hand signals with no verbal accompaniment, one time the lady told me to ask the person in the department (I had been looking for that person for several minutes already) and kept walking without missing a step. I told her something like no one was there and asked for her to help me. She barely turned around with some response. I asked her "are you not going to help me?". She turned and almost yelled at me saying this was her first day and couldnt help me and continued on her way. I can only recall one positive customer experience. I almost moved my familys prescriptions there but wouldnt given the stores customer service. Target around the corner has all that recurring revenue, along with our weekly, everyday purchases. I rarely go to this Walmart anymore even though they are closer than Target and other competitors. I only step inside this site when looking for something specific I want/need now and other stores didnt have the exact item (if item isnt wanted today I use Amazon). Good customer service gets my dollars... poor customer service essentially gives revenue to competitors.

Terrible customer service... The employees walk around like they dont have work to do even when there is a long line of customers sitting around waiting at the customer service desk for help. You ask a question and get completely different answers from each employee. A lot of the employees dont even know where items in the store are located. Had to have an assistant manager called four or five times before anyone showed up. I went to this Walmart to get a bike. They didnt have the one I wanted assembled. I ended up having to wait over an hour for them to see if they had the bike in stock in the back. During my wait, I watched several other customers encountering problems with their bike orders getting messed up (the customers were told their orders were completely ready to be picked up, and upon their arrivals to the store, one was told her order had been canceled, another was told that one of her bikes wasnt assembled after a week of waiting, etc.). I was told my bike would be ready and assembled the day following my purchase; however, when I called, they said they had no assemblers, even though I was told that there would be an assembler working that morning. (Waited almost 2 hours to have all of my purchase complete). Will not be returning to this Walmart if I know I will need customer service.

I really want to like this Walmart but they attract so much ghetto people to the point you feel uncomfortable. And no, the entire location is not sketchy just this area. Anyways go through the back side of the lot to park because you got the most grade A drivers and people in front of the store. And by that I mean people walking without looking or just walking right behind your car while you are backing out. Cars driving 1MPH and stopping. Walmart itself is decent and they updated their store just like last year so its really nicer now except they removed the Mcdonalds from there but it doesnt really matter as there is one just like 5 minutes away. The place is fairly organized and you can find everything easily. Now theres a few problems, sometimes the cold section will be mostly empty and if you are planning to grocery shop here, this place will disappoint you severely. Another thing is alot of the times I will see one or two lanes open with dozens of people waiting. Like the rest of the employees are making a mix tape in the back. Most of the time I just use self checkout since the other lines move slower than a slow snail

I came here last night to return a gift, and when I responded to the woman at customer service that there was nothing wrong with the item and Ive never used it, she proceeded to open the box and roughly dump out the item, and then accuse me of being dishonest and using the item before returning it. WTF ! I always try not to let these workers bother me, but she obviously had no basis for accusing me. Walmart needs to do a better job of training their customer service employees. If Walmart never sold items that were not in original packaging, and I return an item that has tape on it, then sure okay she may be skeptical. However, like all other stores, Im sure that my gifter bought a previously-returned item, thus the tape on the box, and now when I try to return it, the Walmart lady accuses me of previously using it and being dishonest about it. Im seriously never coming back here again. What an unpleasant shopping experience.

On Nov 20 2011.I had really bad experience with oil change service at Walmart Union city.The guy whose name was Navjot C, was very irresponsible guy, he just drain my grand caravan vans oil and just put new oil. When I checked my invoice, every thing was marked CHECK. After that when I checked power steering fluid, it was empty and I asked him why did you check mark on invoice for power steering fluid when it has not been done. Then he said I DONT KNOW. I said I think that WALMART has responsible technician...I know we can go out of Walmart for cheaper but what is your responsibility then he said "YOU CAN GO OUT SIDE THEN..." I said i want to talk to your Manager, He said their are no manager or supervisor and I asked what is your name he said why you want to know my name.He was very very RUDE guy, who has no sense of customer service. I think we should not believe on these guys.

I had my car serviced for this branch and the technician named Anthony forced to remove the hood stand from the slot on my carbon fiber hood which resulted in breaking my hood stand slot right in front of me. They made me file an incident report but this techician Anthony denied in his incident report the damaged hes done to my car. So because of his false statements the claim was denied even though there was enough evidence on the video. A manager named demarcus promised to help me refile a claim or do the very best he can to help me with my case but he turned his back on me as well without even telling me why! If i were you, i would never bring my car here to get serviced. They will not take care of you incase they damage your vehicle. Ive been there customer for over 10 years but i will never ever come here or recommend this place to anyone.

I do not enjoy shopping at this Wal Mart. I would much rather shop at the Target just down the street. This location isnt very clean. The staff doesnt know where anything is. I brought an item to buy from the back of the store to the checkout counter and the woman ringing up my items tells me that the item doesnt item doesnt have a barcode. I informed her that I would still like to purchase it. She rolled her eyes and said there was nothing she could do without a barcode. So instead of calling another associate for help, she had me walk all the way to the back of the store and pull the skew from the bar the item was hanging on and she gave me grief because I should have known better. I will not shop here again and I do not advise others to shop here either.
