My overall experience with the Savannah motors dealership has been a very negative one. In the end they turned out to be the typical shady dishonest dealership. I recently purchased a used vehicle from them in late August 2013. They had a particular car that caught my attention so I contacted them in regards to the car and at first was satisfied with our initial interaction. I spoke with a guy by the name of Luis for the most part and also Robert (then later Ray). I was told by them on several occasions that the cash price of the car would be $10,999 with a down payment of $2500. I called them twice on the purchase date prior to my arrival to confirm the down payment and the total cash price. But when I got there it was a whole different story. So when I got there they ended up making the down payment $3000 and raised the cash price (not including the financing price/charges) to $11,999. So thats about a $1,500 increase in what was agreed upon several times before that date and on that date prior to my arrival. In the end despite being initially mislead, I ended up purchasing the car via financing because the car had certain features/options that I liked that other similar cars didnt. While I was waiting for them to finalize the deal I took the car for a test drive. It drove pretty good but had a few issues, for instance the steering alignment was off and after doing a second visual check I noticed a lot of paint issues, scratches, and other issues inside. The total time it took for me to finish everything there was about 3.5hrs which is ridiculous. They also had me waiting on someone to do car checks who was supposedly associated with the dmv but then a week ago I was forced to bring back the car to a local dmv because someone changed the Odometer reading on the car which leads me to believe that something must have happened with the engine that wasnt mentioned anywhere on the carfax etc. I plan to get an engine and overall check very soon just in case. Another issue I had with them is that recently I made an agreement with them over the phone for a payment which was for them to charge me a certain amount and to call before processing the payment (running my card). They ended up Running my card for twice the amount that was agreed upon over the phone (the actual amount that I signed in the promissory note) and didnt give me a call or anything. So that just shows me that not only do they run a shady business but their verbal promises are worthless. The only positive thing I have to say about them is that they let me slide a little bit on the initial total down payment, so I paid $2000 initially instead of 3000 but still owe $1000 and also they were able to get me financed when others turned me down although their interest rate was a little bit over 20% apr and I did have two other dealerships that were ready to make a deal with me. Lastly, if you are considering getting a car from these guys then just be wary. There is at least 2 other reviews online speaking of them raising prices. Also when car shopping dont make the same mistake I did which was not taking my time and being patient, otherwise youll get screwed over and taken advantage of from guys/wolves like Savannah motors inc.

Friendly Staff. But once I bought the car, problems arose. I understand a car not working after months of use, even a month. But car problems from week 2??? I called and thought they would take care of it. They tried, But I still had to pay for some of the things that needed to get fixed. By month 2, Car is completely undrivable. Called actual Volkswagen dealership, and when they ran a diagnostic. All cylinders are misfiring, Power Steering Control Module, Transmission Control Module, Central Locking Overheating, Brake Control Module, Airbag Control Module, and many various others. One of the technicians from Volkswagen did recommend that I should reprogram the computer since it seems, before I bought the vehicle, someone was messing with that. I dont have the money for all these things fixed, plus my regular car payments and insurance. I called to let them know. But have not been able to get any help on the matter, just ,"Ill call you back" (which is never btw). So if you buy a vehicle from them, please take an actual mechanic to check out the vehicle as if you were buying from a private seller.

Family and I Came here looking around for a lifted truck, and my goodness did we get a little more than we were bargaining for. Which is a good thing. So, to start YES we got the truck we wanted but must I add that costumer service for most people goes along way. You can have all the best things in life but to me the way you treat people means so much more. They treated us like family. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well, they walked us through all the steps, gave us our options and they were even willing to work with what we had. Did I mention they even attend to my 4 year old daughter!!??? Cartoons and coloring books to keep her entertained. So anyway, I only gave 5 stars cause thats what I was allowed.. Id give more if possible. If you are in the area car shopping, I suggest you stop by. Thank you Sunset Car Company we greatly appreciate your hospitality.

I wes looking for a truck for work. Ill wes asking about the truck. And ask them how much is for a f250 and tod did my research and found out the car cost around 14 to 15000 way over price and the pace they were asking wes 24.000 They were rude never want to place like this b4 wen they talk to like that. And they didnt want to work with me on pace. Dont go there and the the truck nearly didnt have no tire tread on it. And had in springs on the front non name brand

It was a pleasant shopping experience here! We save the SUV from the street and had to turn around to come see it. Not only was it clean, it was shown without pressure and although we came back three times before finally making the purchase! German was very professional and knew all the details about this navigator. Price was perfect, payment was below what I wanted it to be, and it was quick to get in and sign! Two thumbs up on my books!

Honestly if I could I wouldve given them 10 star rating instead of 5 stars, Outstanding customer service, great hospitality and they make you fell at home. I called ahead of time to make sure the vehicle is available and by the time I got there vehicle was already parked in the front ready to be delivered. The process was fast and hassle free, Id most definitely go back to them in the future. Thank you Sunset Car, You Guys Rock. Matt

I called asking about a Ford f150 and told them I was out of state. I then asked if I could put a deposit down and come there 3 days later, they said I didnt need a deposit and assured me the car would still be there. One $200 plane ticket later and a written out cashiers check, I am told they have sold the car a day before my flight. Instead of making it right they just tried to get me to buy another not as nice car off their website.
