Complaint Description: Purchased vehicle 5/24/13. Have spent $911.09 in repairs. Transmission died 12/9/13, Ace worked on transmission 9/12/13. Bought the 1999 Audi A4 on May 24, 2013. Had car inspected before purchase, from mechanic down the road. Had car inspected at local oil change shop before taking a trip on June 25, 2013, topped off with oil. July 7, 2013 had to replace the spark plug wires for $387, out of state and stranded, also had oil change done. August 8, 2013 had issue and took it in had oil changed again at local oil change shop. The shop said had broken left CV Axle, dark trans fluid with oil leakage pinion seal on rear diff leaking. transfer case output shaft leaking. August 14, 2013 took car to back Ace they agree to fix these issues for $260. Got Car back September 12, 2013, they said they performed trans service, trans kit and replaced the CV axle. On October 10th the battery died, was $139 to replace and install. Had Oil change done at different local oil change shop November 11, 2013. Monday December 9, 2013 Car would not drive properly, whining noise, cant recognize gear and smoke coming out. Had it towed to the most recent oil change shop, they said the transmission s bearings and pump were beyond repair. Less than 6 months, a total of $911.09 of repairs and oil changes. I paid cashier s check $5,621.25. They charged me for DMV taxes/ registration, which never made it to the DMV. I received a bill from DMV and had to pay twice for registration. Ace sent me a refund check for a lesser amount. I never received the full refund from Ace. Service is nice and friendly when shopping and buying the vehicle. I received personal cellphone numbers and a smile. When the vehicle started giving me trouble and I returned to Ace Motors, I received cold shoulder, and jokes about costs to repair. When the transmission died, I was told Everything happens for a reason. Tried to sell the vehicle back to Ace, they wont buy back, even with the repairs, that says a lot about the cars they sell.

I bought an Audi A3 from here about 2 months ago...I am very pleased. I have read the reviews before coming here and I know that you cant please everyone and the used car industry is a tough industry as far as getting great reviews from their customers. This is what I will say folks, if youre looking to buy a car that smells new and with all the manufacturer warranty then you should be at a NEW CAR DEALERSHIP not a used car lot! Seriously folks, they sell decent cars at a decent price period. They work with credit issues like myself so with that said, I new I had less options when I arrived at this place...If you have great credit and want to be treated like a VIP then there are many other options Im sure youre already aware of but this is a "used car" dealership fyi! I got a fair price for my car and they took care of the small cosmetic issues as they promised. They have a auto repair service connected to the lot so they can fix any maintenance issues if needed after the purchase. Cars break down folks and when buying a used car, theyll break sooner than you think! I knew this before going to any used car lot so I wouldnt be upset later if so. Alejandra was professional and she helped me with all the little issues after the purchase and Reuben was straight forward with the sales process and helped me with getting financed. I would definitely recommend Ace Motors any day to anyone who has issues with their credit and wants to purchase a nice car at a fair price. Thanks for your service and I will be back.

BEWARE I bought a car and so did my husband and the cars were both lemons. I bought a van and 2weeks into it the bolt that connects the steering wheel to axle was loose and I almost lost control . Luckily my kids were not in the car. 1 month into it the transmission went out had to replace. 4 months after that the car wouldnt turn on at all took it to a Dodge dealer and $1800 later the TIPM and WIN module had to be replaced. Then I found out both cars were in an accident after Herman said they were not. So when you sign that vehicle history report make sure it says no accident not just no water damage . My husbands car had problems with tires the inner tires were worn really bad it only had 29000 miles so we knew something was wrong . It was in an accident and the front of the car framing was bad so when we would brake it would shake and feel like it couldnt brake. We traded that in and car fax said it was in a accident. Then the finance company veros credit is horrible. I bought this car and hasnt been even a year and the van is not working . I purchased at 76000 miles and I am now at 82000 miles and it doesnt work. Something is now going on with engine. This is just ridiculous luckily I have more than one car I bought this car to build my credit but for those who need a reliable vehicle just beware. In the end its not worth it when you have a car payment and 1000s or dollars of repairs non stop.

In addition to this the added bonus to this dealership is their Service Dept. Marty oversees this department and it is second to none. Both Marty and Frank have a very in depth knowledge of cars. In my relationship with them I have found them to be very reputable, professional and honest. They are a rare find. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a high quality pre-owned vehicle. The vehicles and the auto repair dept. delivers high quality and service every time. I bought a 04 jeep liberty from these people and it broke down the next week. It stopped running on the middle of the freeway. Before it completely broke down I had went to the dealership to get multiple things fixed on it. The door panel on the side that my NEWBORN baby sits on completely fell off and we couldnt open the door. The brakes were completly gone and the radiator had a huge hole in it so we would constantly overheat. We paid for the full warranty on the car and every time we went back they said that it was too late or they were too busy when there was never anyone there. I am 8 months pregnant and they were rude to me and told me I must not be able to read because I bought my car AS IS. I had my brother who is a mechanic go pretend he wanted to buy a car and inspect 5 of their cars and they all have multiple things wrong with them. I recently paid for an attorney and my car is considered a LEMON and I am starting a lawsuit. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
