There are many reasons to shop at OSH these days and not all of them are price. Great Service, helpful people who when they dont know they find out. A really good product mix with many varieties, sizes and brands. Not like your Orange Big Box store. OSH has gone through a restructuring since Lowes stepped in and partnered up with them, true. But now they have the unique ability to stand out in their marketplace with a service and selection I have not been able to find anywhere but the most expensive boutique stores. So yes they did some downsizing with old locations at first, but they are on the move again. If you have an OSH near you it is truly a blessing! If not, drive to one and experience the difference. WORTH IT!

Terry @ customer service answered all my questions courteously over the phone- she set the tone for a very pleasant experience before getting in the front door... Expected a very busy Sunday with "OSH paying your Shopping Tax", but I observed the staff being efficient & acknowledging all customers with kind, friendly service... Cliff, glass-cutter @ the moment when he assisted me, simply "got it done & made it happen"- impressive efficiency- thank you, Sir! I was done & out, to actually have time to finish my bldg repair & post this... Bonuses all around OSH for an awesome Sunday!

Saw a an Add for a nice BBQ on Sale at Orchard Supply Hardware 300 Floresta Boulevard, San Leandro MAY 16TH. First day of the Ad, went over there 8:30am and NOT ONE in the store, so got a raincheck. Went back 2 weeks later, still nothing, then said 2 is coming in on Monday or Tuesday, YOU KNOW THE STORY " NOTHING," Orchard Supply is still wondering why there not do well. WELL GUESS WHAT, TRY HIRING PEOPLE THAT KNOW HOW TO PRESELECT ITEMS FOR YOUR ADS. WORST STORE EVER!!!! SHOULD HAVE JUST PAID FULL PRICE, AT LEASE I HAVE ONE NOW,

I just need two 8 ft wood, but I cant fit it into my car. One lady said it can be cut at the cutting service, but when I get there they put me wait for life 10 mins and someone came and told me No We Cant Cut It. Well I have to spent extra money to my a hand saw and cut it by my self in the parking lot. And they even sell wood cutter. What is fkkng wrong with this. Better go to Home Depot or you cant fit a long piece wood in your car. And the check out was slow.

Since management shut down the Lewelling blvd store they have lost millions in revenue. I wonder whose brilliant idea that was? Who the Heck runs this store anyway? The Lewelling store was well run and conveiniate to get to. I wonder how many millions the idiot that thought up the closing got paid in bonuses?

The cashier didnt want to use her brains to figure out change when I gave her few pennies to avoid having many pennies on the change. She got mad and slammed the change on the counter. What an attitude. No wonder companies are pursuing to use robots and machines at check out counter.

The San Leandro OSH employees were very helpful and answered my questions. I was looking for a wood stain to get an aged look for a project, and they directed me to this Weatherwash stain, which was exactly what I needed.

They stereo type u by the way u look if u got tatoos and are Mexican forget it ur screwd,they will make ur visit so uncomfortable following u everywhere u go and asking every five minutes if they could help u!

The folks at Orchard in San Leandro are always helpful. I had a problem with a faulty part and Carlos took good care of me, as he has in the past. My favorite Hardware store, for sure. You guys are the best.

Dont order anything from Orchard they send a unreliable, disrespectful, uneducated company to deliver your items called Expressit Logistics and the reviews on that company are unbelievable.

If you ask about the location of a çertain item, they have a blank look on their face or just guess, and send you to the wrong aisle.
