We did not buy a Toyota. For whatever reason, they just dont make a lot of V6 Camrys anymore, so our selection was limited to exactly one car. Having said that, I really appreciated the two test drives (the single available V6 and a nicely appointed 4-cylinder for comparison). Im knocking off two stars because the first salesman that tried to help us disappeared into the dealership with my drivers license, while we waiting for 10 minutes in the cold and rain. I had to go chase him down to get my license back, and when I asked why it took so long to make a photocopy, he became upset. We did not see eye to eye. He turned us over to another salesman who was head and shoulders above the first guy. Being very patient with us, and gracious to provide the test drives, the second gentleman, Fernando, attempted to make a sale without resorting to high pressure tactics. In the end, Camry (and thus, Toyota) just didnt work out. With so few V6 examples available in the whole south county, and the in-line 4 just not quite providing enough gidde-up and go, we selected the Accord. If you happened to read my review of Salinas MY Nissan, youd notice I gave them a 5 star rating even though their offering didnt meet our needs either. So why did I knock 2 stars off the Salinas Toyota review? For the simple reason of the bad experience with that first salesman, who shall remain nameless. These guys need to learn how to treat the customer right. I suggest they look to Fernando as an example to follow, someone who is sensitive to the customers needs, and who makes a good attempt to get the sale by explaining the positives of the available product, and helping set the customer at ease when stress levels rise.

Experience here at Toyota is not what I expected at all unfortunately even after buying a vehicle here. Bought a Toyota Corolla 2017 vehicle during the sales event and heres is the just of it. Sales reps were not very attentive when looking at vehicles , when I found the right color I wanted there were a couple or scratches on the car , foot prints everywhere , after sitting with a rep for 2-3 hours discussing financing he took the papers away from us when we wanted to sign and walked away saying theyre closed at 7 and it was 9. We got another rep to bring back the papers and we signed (Phil in finance is the nicest person on Earth) awesome guy. So after figuring out the bumper to bumper and maintaince the vehicle was washed and filled and cleaned but the scratches were still on the car. They scheduled me to come back next Saturday in the morning to get it out, when I arrived they tell me the guy doesnt work weekends so they will let me know in the middle of the week. They called me Thursday saying Friday between 7-8 pm , after work drove from San Leandro all the way here through traffic, the garlic festival and 20 minutes they called me ( let it go to voicemail Im driving), show up 6:30 detailing guy only works 8-5pm and want to reschedule me during my work hours and drive on my "lunch " from San Leandro to Salinas to get it sanded. Not very happy. Dont buy a car if its scratched even if they tell you theyll fix it. This car doesnt have Entune App recommend anything with Android auto , the car is very limited to apps. Just try something else.

From the inception of our introduction from the General Manager, my first impression of Mr. Jones was a man of confidence and consideration for his clients. Our initial conversation was about what was important to me. What my interest, needs, wishes; realistic or not was deemed all important. David, was very patience in listening. He understood his client was confident in herself but expected candid advice in areas of unfamiliarity. Never did I feel pressured! I gained trust in Mr. Jones when he offered important information unconditionally. I was upfront and relentless about my needs. Thank goodness he had a sense of humor. Mr. Jones, quickly understood what was important to me. He was experienced and compassionate enough to give me the time required too let me make my own decision. He too understood some of my indecisiveness and offered excellent sound relative advice when appropriate. His after sale car tutorial was great!

Salinas Toyota is the dealership I will do business with again! Ive purchased/leased many vehicles in the past and this dealership is by far the best. This was the first Toyota my wife and I have ever owned which would make this the first Toyota dealership weve ever been to and all I keep asking myself is, "why havent we purchased a Toyota sooner?" David is an amazing salesman. He Was Very KNOWEDGEABLE With Toyota s products and answered all my questions or concerns.By far the smoothest transaction Ive ever experienced. Raul is courteous and offered products to us when it came down to us signing the contract. He was not pushy or made us feel pressured into purchasing what he offered but very informative. If you are in the market of purchasing a Toyota or just dont know what vehicle you want I highly recommend visiting Salinas Toyota. There vehicles are just an amazing product and the resale value are 2nd to none!

Efrain was amazing and incredibly helpful, he didnt pressure me into buying a vehicle unlike most dealers. Instead, he took his time with us and provided us with all the information we needed before financing the vehicle and driving it out of the car lot. He left me a voice message two days after, unfortunately I was busy working and havent had the chance to call back. Therefore, I am writing this compliment paragraph because he was really generous and helped me without the peer pressure. Raul was entertaining in a good way and made the final paperwork process stress free. I really enjoyed sitting in his office, he made my fiance and I feel incredibly comfortable and really went over everything we needed to know about our purchase. I admired the fact that he doubled checked his mistakes because it shows that he was being careful and not just rushing us through the process to get us out.

This was the BEST car buying experience Ive ever had. Dave was very informative and encouraged me when I said I had never driven an automatic transmission. He made sure I knew what to do and was very supportive on my test drive. The car color I wanted wasnt at Salinas so he arranged for a car to be brought from another dealer. He guided me through the financing options and offered all the extras available. Im on a limited income now that Im retired and he honored my situation. I felt like a really special customer even though my purchase wasnt a high end model. He is a superlative salesman who made sure I knew everything I needed to know about services and the workings of my Yaris LE.

When I bought my prius I was given paperwork stating the hybrid battery had been replaced. Now it just died and I find out it was a different battery. I went in to address the misinformation with the dealership and the sales manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful. He answered his cell phone in the middle of our conversation, said I should have known better, threw my paperwork back at me, and said that there was nothing he was going to do for me. He didnt even apologize that I had had a bad experience. Do not buy from this dealership. The sales people will lie to get you to buy a car and the managers will not even listen to your concerns. I have never been treated so poorly.
