We stopped in here on the 4th of July to check out a new Chevy Volt. I informed the salesperson, Jose S., that we were just looking and had no intention of purchasing that day, and were going to wait until the 2018s arrived so that we could get a good deal on a clearance priced 2017. As I have come to expect from car salespeople, Jose S. was a little overbearing but overall he seemed like a nice guy. After we had checked out the Chevy Volt and were ready to leave Jose asked if he would speak to his sales manager, Will, to see if they could get the price I wanted. I reluctantly agreed and went inside to speak with Will. I informed Will that we were in no rush to buy and had been planning to wait until the 2017 Chevy Volts were priced at 20% off, like they had done for the last several years in July. Will said that he would have no problem selling us the Chevy Volt for the 20% off if we were ready to buy today. I was somewhat in disbelief that he was willing to drop the price that much, so I again confirmed with Will that he would mark the Volt down 20%. I explained to Will that I didnt want to waste our time or his, and if he wasnt able to do the 20% off I would not be purchasing the Volt. Will again told me that lowering the price 20% would be "No problem at all". I asked him to write it up so we could start the purchase. Will told us to have a seat in their lobby area and they would get it started. We filled out the paperwork in about 10 minutes and were still waiting for Will. I thought this was kind of odd since they were only two other customers there, and the two sales managers didnt appear to be busy. During the wait, they tried to convince us to fill out a credit application, even though I had already told them I would not be using their financing. After another 45 minutes had gone by I was becoming a little frustrated that we were just sitting around waiting for Will. I saw Will as he walked near our table and asked him what the hold up was since we had been waiting for him for an hour now. Will apologized and then returned to his desk. About 10 minutes later Will finally returned with a paper in his hand. Will explained that he had taken care of the discount and had knocked $2,000 off of the MSRP of the Volt for us. This was only 5% off, not the 20% Will had repeatedly promised us. Not only was that nowhere near what Will had promised us, his price was actually $5,000 higher than what other nearby dealers were selling their Chevy Volts for. So after an hour and a half of waiting and dealing with their sales pitches and sub-par financing offers, Will tells us he can only do the 5% off, not the 20% off. In disbelief of how blatantly dishonest Will had been we just got up and left. After that experience I will never step foot back in such a dishonest dealership.

Where do I start. About 4-5 months ago I went to the dealership to look at a dually diesel truck. I saw the truck from the road and parked on the street. Walked up to the truck. Looked at it for about 20 minutes from the outside. No one ever came to help and I figured they just didnt see me and I was ok with that. Saw someone outside and asked for help on a truck. As we were walking back to the truck he looks at me and says you do realize how much that truck is dont you, hows your credit. I was shocked. He didnt seem to interested in helping but kind of had that oh well attitude. Got to the truck. He said he needed to go get the keys and he will be right back. Well after almost 15 mins of him not returning I walked back up to showroom and saw him sitting on his cell phone and talking Spanish and laughing. I speak a little Spanish and heard part of what he was saying. He saw me and was shocked and told the person on the phone he needed to go. Looked at me and said sorry a client called. The way he was talking on the phone and that was not a client. Well he got the keys and took me on a test drive. The whole time he was texting someone and giggling. That was rude. I was asking questions and he either didnt answer or said I dont know. Well back to the dealer and I asked what is this trucks tow rating meaning the most it can tow. He spouted off easily 10k weight. I was like wow. A heavy duty half ton or 3/4 ton can do that this is a one ton dually. He said IF I was a serious buyer he can go check. Who treats people like that OMG. I said yes I am a serious buyer. He shrugged his shoulders and went inside. After 20 mins leaving me in the truck with the keys I had had enough. I locked their truck up, walked in the dealer and once again saw him sitting talking. I walked over handed him the keys and he looks at me and says I am super busy. Let me get you another salesman. After that horrible experience I didnt even want a truck but now I need one bad. I decided to try Kuni Chevrolet and they treated me great answered all my questions and I wrote a check out and paid for the truck in full. They never treated me like I could not afford it and gave me respect. I usually dont leave reviews but I have never been treated so bad but in my whole life and this made me break my silence. Shame on you. Only reason I am posting is I had a friend ask me where did you get it at Performance Chevy? I said NO. And told him how I was treated at Performance Chevy and he was like ohhhhh. I can see now why they have such low rating compared to others.

Beware women! The part owner/General Manager Kevin Bowers is a ego tripping jerk that will rip you off! Im a single mom, who just bought a house, who gets zero child support who HAD to buy a new car after my previous car was lemoned. I WALKED to this dealer on foot after picking up a $19K check from the Ford dealer down the street. They had the car I wanted and should give me for that price based on other identical cars in the areas. I offered my full refund check from Ford and $1000 more (which would empty my savings account, not smart when you have a house to take care of). He refused and became aggressive calling me "fussy", snatching papers and crumpling them and shouting at me because I couldnt come up with another $350 in the next month which is all I needed to meet his final offer. He wouldnt budge and I had to walk away. He said, "if you walk this deal walks with you" and then told the saleman to "get her out of here". I never raised my voice or anything. I was shocked and frozen on the spot. The salesman was so embarrassed and said he had heard of that behavior before from Kevin but had not witnessed it. I called my mom after having to get a rental car who agreed to loan me the $350. At 5:pm, the salesman called and said the other manager agreed to the last offer Kevin gave me, so at 5:59pm I turned in my rental car and got a ride to the dealer. I sit down to sign and Kevin had raised his final offer by $1000 and told the manager if he gave me so much as $1 off of that higher price, that he would fire him!! The entire staff confirmed that this is typical Kevin behavior. So again, I now have no car, I have to get home at 7:30pm with my little girl and since the rental companies were closed I had no way to get to work the next morning. I had no choice but to pay the higher price and now have a car payment I cant afford AND an empty savings account due to Kevins greed and ego. Would $350 have hurt this highly profitable dealership? absolutely not. They would have still made a few hundred $ but they wouldve sold a car in 20 min and had a customer for life. Instead, he wasted several hours of time for members of his staff and I will not refer anyone to this dealership. I was told that the main owner doesnt deal with any customer complaints and refers them all back to Kevin so I had no recourse but to complain online hoping Kevin doesnt catch anyone else in his greedy bait and switch routine.
